    Morning all

Apart from a quick S&S of the kitchen and bathroom, and sorting a couple of loads for the WM, I'm not flying today. It's our 10th wedding anniversary so DH is taking me out to lunch :) then we both have to go to a synod meeting this evening :(

Rosie is in kennels and being bathed today :D

Hope everyone has a productive day - or a good rest :D

Christmas shopping nearly done.. Thank goodness!! I need to sort Twinkle and that will be all my offspring done. I've just got ribbon to finish my sisters wreath. I have a basket full at Boots for next week which should finish the 'other halves' but I need to pay for the photoshoot first for DD1.. might do that today actually while it is in my head.

Kittens fed so all sleeping in various places.

Today I have to post 2 parcels, list some more stuff to hopefully bring in some much needed extra quids.

Tomorrow we need to pay panto tickets at school, trip deposit I really cannot afford for Squeak a school residential next October and make at least a bit of a start on the owed dinner monies before they refuse to feed my children lol. May as well just give school the entire months pay!

Off to shower, get dressed and make a start de-grotting this hovel.

Ooh... and we can have mash for dinner tonight because OH is home to eat it! I LOVE mash but it is pointless making it just for me.

    HHC on myself!!

    Good morning :D

I have not achieved much today yet. I am up, dressed and breakfasted. I sat in bed and worked on my Christmas lists - so lacking in inspiration and motivation this year! I really don't want to buy (or receive) presents for the sake of it. I only want to get useful and/or truly wanted/loved things. There is so much waste today, and I don't want to add to it! My family are finding it boring I think!

DW was emptied by DH this morning :T He has decided on another day to fully get over his bug, so we are both off. I need to go to town, but he won't join me. I also need to empty some of my compost bin and transport it to the allotment. I collected some wood chips from there yesterday, to keep the cycle going :)

A little list for today, as I am rapidly losing my GUAG:
    • [STRIKE]pay in cheque[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]buy bigger crochet hooks[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]buy new tin opener[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]pick up parcel from PO[/STRIKE]
    • unbury heater from cupboard under stairs
    • clear my pile of detritus from the DR table
    • clear my other pile of detritus from coffee table
    • empty compost
    • shredding

That'll do for now. I think DH is sorting his sock drawer. Maybe I will find him something to clean/sort..... maybe a heavy hint for the bathroom cabinet ;)

Happy anniversary Ionafan I hope you have a good day

    Well, I've just had a mini melt-down...

L'Occitane have discontinued my favourite perfume! Why!?!? I'm gutted. I know, I know, First World problems, but....I'm distraught.

The (very lovely) lady on the phone is sending me samples of two other perfumes I might like instead, but honestly, thus has ruined my morning. I'm now refusing to do any flying and have eaten all the mini marshmallows and chocolate drops in my baking drawer...and it's all their fault!

    :(:(:(:

    Dizzy :rotfl:

Goodintentions I have inherited knitting needles and crochet hooks from various aunts and have 2x 4.00 mm and 2x 4.5 mm excess to requirements. If they're any good to you, PM me.

I have decluttered an annoying piece of paperwork (not due until 2nd Dec, so not past the tadpole stage) and have tried on my new wellies :D :j

    Afternoon all

Busy couple of days at paid stuff, I started early this morning so the only flying done was to start the wm going, only just done that. I will try and do some after work depending on what time I finish.

Have a lovely afternoon all. Stay warm x

Thank you Ionafan, that is so kind! I did manage to get a pack of 3 (2.0mm, 4.0mm & 5.5mm) in W!lk0s for £3, and some nice purple & gray wool for £2 a ball. I may get the girls crocheting granny squares for a blanket to keep me warm :rotfl: although they are a long way off that yet!! If you need to declutter them though, I would be happy to take them off your hands. I can pay the postage obviously :)

I have done some errands in town, and mooched about looking at some bits. I got some wrapping paper, advent calendars for my own 'kids' and some Christmas shortbread & crackers/biscuits. I suppose its a start! It is grey and cold out, and now I want to hibernate. I may hunt out the electric heater to warm myself up!

I'm sure it is harder if you have children to consider, but several years ago my family decided we would all select a charity appropriate to the recipient to donate to in lieu of a present. It's actually quite good fun to browse through lots of good causes and pick someone's hobby e.g. my brother is a keen cyclist, so one year I 'gave him' a donation to a charity which refurbishes unwanted bicycles to give to impoverished children. If you look through the list on "The Big Give" and wait to donate till the 1st week in December, they will double your money. I usually make up a personalised card on the computer for each recipient, putting on a few Christmas symbols as well as the logo of the charity and what project the money has gone for. We usually give each other one small present apart from that. Just a thought.

Not a huge amount of flying from me as I've been writing reports this am before uni, doing another assessment then checking another report when I got home! Mr N and I made a pizza between us and washed up, that's about it.
