Morning all  It's cold and frosty here,we had a beautiful sunrise but there's a cloud of freezing fog like a duvet over the town centre (we're a bit higher up and can see right across the valley from our bedroom window).
Good luck with the inspection, Dizzy. Surely the inspector will be aware of the fact that it has rained rather hard recently. Congratulations on the dog's weight loss :T I wish Rosie could shed a pound or two - and DH a stone or three, and me. I lost my own battle on about the 2nd of this month.
Sorry to hear your son is ill again, YL - very worrying for you x
Enjoy your GUAG while it lasts, pigpen!
This is going to be an S&S week only, if ever I saw one. Yesterday the Old Wives had an outing to a local GC for afternoon tea - at 2 for £15 it was of excellent quality and extremely good value. Now DH wants to go there! In the evening I drove to Cathedral City for a committee meeting: I arrived late because first I had had to scrape thick ice off my windscreen, and then I got held up in the aftermath of a car crash in the centre of the next village, where all the emergency services were in attendanceThe meeting ended remarkably early, so all in all I spent more than twice as long travelling as discussing.
Today I have to go to a funeral at 11.00, take Rosie for a walk, do my exercise class, and go to visit another young family. DH is out morning and evening, so we are like ships that pass in the night.
Right, I've emptied all the bins - what else can I achieve before 10.30?
Will see you all later, even if I don't have time to post. (((Hugs))) all round - especially for dancemum xx Spoons in the jar: please help yourselves. Will throw sticks when I take Rosie to the wood later.0 -

Afternoon all
Just had my lunch break, during which I...
Popped to the shop for a couple of bits
Ate lunch!
Loaded washing machine again
Shuffled laundry around so it dries a bit quicker
Made 2 phone calls
Emptied bins, wiped them inside and out with some disinfectant
Wiped over the utility room sink, cupboards and shelf
I think that was quite a productive hour... not sure how much will be done after work. Somebody has booked a meeting in to my calendar so I will be finishing an hour later than planned. I will try and do a bit in the kitchen while supper is in the oven.
Have a lovely afternoon all. Stay warm x0 -

Pigpen I am hoping that since DS2 went to Uni and DS1 officially doesnt live here any more our £90 a month for electric will come down, no change on direct debit yet though.
Goodness! Mine is £90 a month with all of us! The gas is £50 which is why the £20/£10 increase makes such a huge difference. They won't automatically change the DD but if you ring they might be able to change tariff and reduce it. Mine wanted £187 a month just for electric.. I told them they could go sing.. I had already calculated our annual and monthly usage and refused to pay it. I'd nag them about it, unless you have someone set up on life support and an electric car on charge I'd be querying that cost.
OH and Moomin sorted for Christmas. DS1 and Meem left to do. OH is sorting Dot and Pixie when he is paid on Friday and I am totally stuck for Twinkle.. What do you get for the 12th child??
Upstairs bins emptied now my wheelies are empty.
Litter trays all cleaned
Doing a food shop for Friday delivery.. tins and pasta stock up so don't really need to go look at that in the shop.
Boog is talking and will not !!!!!!.. I may gag him! He has a trial shift tomorrow at 11:30.. and waiting to hear about the one he had on Sunday.. fingers crossed ONE wants him!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
