Which means for the brave the tsb offer is still open if anyone has the stomach to nurse this offer through again.
As far as I can see, there is no limit to the number of Classic accounts you can hold, and no limit to the number of times you can claim cashback through Quidco...

So potentially unlimited money if you can keep up opening up new accounts all day...though you'll have to wait 130+ days and no guarantee TSB/Quidco will pay out!
  • I dont think TSB will keep opening up unlimited accounts for you, one day all your accounts will get blocked and won't get any cashback from Quidco, as the payout is taking more than 6 months, you will lose out cashback for lot of your accounts if you created in this timeframe. This will be considered as abusing the offer. I suppose couple off won't trigger anything.

What do you suggest everyone should do until that day comes?

    Open lots more tsb accounts!

ghost has decided you can’t open lots of accounts but you might get away with two. Think the idea of folks opening a few is triggering someone but not “we will do anything to get more accounts opened”, tsb before they IMO, offer themselves up to the highest bidder. Worked for Yorkshire/Clydesdale/Virgin who seem to have become a decent banking entity.

can't comment on what everyone should do but I dont think Quidco or TSB will keep honouring £50 for opening multiple bank accounts.  And I was referring to that opening 2-3 accounts might not alarm but keep creating as many as accounts is going to be a problem in my opinion because who needs 5 classic or plus or in any combination and all opened through Quidco for £50?  I would be interested to know the maximum number of accounts any one has created through Quidco and rec'd the cashback amount.

The offer processing appears to have been set up to automatically decline on the 'estimated payment' date unless TSB have approved the cashback after 90 days. At this point there will be a status update and a couple of months later after another status update the cashback will be confirmed and be payable.

The problem with the initial batch which were automatically declined because the estimated payment date was set too early (before TSB could approve the cashback) is that they no longer have an estimated payment date after they were rolled back from declined to tracking. So these could potentially stay tracking forever...

Mine was one of the 'initial batch' that were declined and has now been paid - see my posts in this thread for dates/qualifying information. They won't track forever but you may need to raise support claims in order to get a person to intercede into the process...
