The claim is now closed (declined) isn't it as the original transaction is now tracking, so don't know why they're on about that
If the claim still shows as open in Quidco, it is exactly that - open. Just leave it be.
It's not open though. Quidco emailed to say as the originally declined transactions were rolled back to tracking, the claims are closed - and they show as declined.
Seems I have misunderstood what is [not] happening. Clearly, if there is a reason for a complaint, a complaint should be made / kept open. But if the original transaction is tracked, or has even been paid, then what's the point of the complaint?

Quirkydeptless chased up the retailer decision given the lack of status updates since the original tracking date. Quidco emailed back referring to the expected resolution date of the separate (closed) claim that was raised after the original en masse declines. Clearly the claim is irrelevant now the original transaction is tracking.

    My brain hurts.

Why would anyone chase an irrelevant claim. If that's what's actually going on. As I said, apologies if I have misunderstood the facts around quirkydeptless-gate.......

They weren't chasing the claim. That's the point. They were chasing the tracked transaction. So quite why Quidco referred to the claim is bizarre.

I received my tsb/Quidco cashback into my nominated account this morning. Not saying this to crow about it but there was a time, January mass declines, when it seemed it was all going down the Swanee.

Which means for the brave the tsb offer is still open if anyone has the stomach to nurse this offer through again.

Can I ask when you opened your account please ?

Have you had any status updates since 8th December?

I opened several accounts in mid to late November 2019 and all paid out together, notified me last week and took about seven days inc BH weekend to arrive today.
Two more accounts I opened in December are awaiting retailer confirmation so I guess they are processing them in batches.

Do any of your December ones show status updates since December? Did you have status updates on all your paid out ones? Just trying to see if I can read anything into lack of status updates on my November openings

The December two accounts both show status update of 6th April, think they were updated monthly, like 6th March, 6th Feb etc didn’t get stuck on December 6th but not 100% certain.
The November accounts that all paid out show as status updated and also payable on 9th April 2020.
