Work are now trying to sort suitable equipment out for me. I'm trying to track down where part of it has been delivered to 🙄
-- Need to rearrange my home.
I've checked with my mortgage lender that they are receiving the O/Ps and they confirmed I've paid £1005 off the capital because of normal monthly payments and O/Ps. Also clarified the 10% per year O/P and it's 10% of the outstanding balance at the start of my mortgage year (May).
The compost and mulch arrived. TomBo has been busy with the wheelbarrow getting it all down to the garden.
I ordered some jars, they've arrived. Time to practice chutney and jam making, another step towards self-sufficiency.
Moved this week's unspent commute cost to savings.
Got my eyebrow appointment tomorrow. They have added £6 PPE charge to hairdresser appointments, but not to the beauty treatments. I am swaying more to just having eyebrow wax after this appointment as it's too expensive to have them and eyelashes dyed too.

I hope you can sort the equipment out. Well done on garden bits arriving, OPs on mortgage extra commute cost savings. I like this idea of jam making. Yum. I might try that in the summer next year. Enjoy the beauty therapist.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks SW.
3.5 hours after leaving home I was back again and I've now got a mini office set up in the corner. I'm shattered and TomBo is going to do all the wires tomorrow for me.
I am a bit happier about trying to do my job at home, but also annoyed it's taken so long to get this far (over 5 month's)
Need to pop outside and water everything in a bit.
Had pork and veg for tea, yoghurt for pudding.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -

I've no faith in the rep having attended a few meetings and heard them speak, really didn't fill me with confidence that they would be of any use if I needed them. I'm seriously considering cancelling my membership and saving nearly £15 a month.
I didn't have a choice but to try and limp through as I desperately wanted the mortgage / flat, I couldn't have stayed in the last place any longer than I did. Since moving I'm trying to build savings back up and get the mortgage down to 20 - 25% equity ready for remortgaging to a mainstream lender.
TomBo has told me about a couple of interesting jobs, I need to look into them and get my CV updated.
Popped to the local shops today, ice cream is now in the freezer. Called into the charity shop and picked a little something up for TomBo's birthday and they are taking donations two days a week, but asked that I only send over a couple of bags at a time.
Had my beauty appointment, I'm not sure about the eyelash dye. Top lashes look good, bottom ones could be a lot better. I don't know if I can justify £16 having them done again, especially as my old place used to do it so well and for a lot less.
Had ham and lettuce rolls for lunch. Tea is pork and veg.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Glad your office is now sorted. I remember how things were on your earlier diary - and you seem in a much better place in every sense of the word nowAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you SH, I'm getting better mentally, physically is another matter, but it's still very early days and a good home makes a huge difference.
I'm still monitoring my credit reports, all my defaults have now fallen off. Just the CCJ and AP to go; still think AP's are a disgrace for staying on 6 years after a debt has been paid.
Looked into the jobs, they are not suitable. One I think they would credit check for, the other which was good is only temporary.
TomBo's uncle gave him a bike, he's taken it for a spin but it needs a service; that will keep him busy for a bit as the local cycle guy is booked solid for at least 6 weeks.
Been gardening, only spreading the mulch around, but it's something. Both mint tubs seem to have taken and are settling in. Picked some runner beans to go with tea.
Decided not to buy a greenhouse, I can make better use of the patio section with tubs and bags instead 🤗 it also means I can use that money on some windbreak fencing to give our crops a chance next year.

Glad you are still enjoying your garden. I picked plums, apples and tomatoes today. Some tomatoes had blighted but there were still some that were okay. I stopped water due to all the rain which turned out to be a mistake lolAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
