    Thank you SH and Skinty

I was surprised when the surgeon insisted I talk about my one issue so she can check me out.

I thought the incision would be smaller until the surgeon told me what she'd do and why. It's only about an inch x half an inch removed then the two sides stitched together, however the location has a lot of movement which puts a lot of stress on the now joined parts.

Did my client yesterday and they switched from IHM / pedi to facial / pedi. Also, purchased something.

New client is booked in for 2 weeks, first male client and hopefully I'll gain a few more.

I've come up with an idea of mini spa packages eg mini facial, back massage and mini mani or pedi - soak, exfoliant and cream. Strip out some of the products to shorten the time while still having good results. If I can come up with 3 different ones for 90 mins / £50 they may go down well. Oooh, I could do seasonal packages!
    - I'll see if I can come up with 1h mini beauty packages too for £30.

Did all the washing from 3rd home when I got in, that's dry and ready to pack / take back.

Hubs popped to the city and I've been to 2nd home today, cucumbers and cucamelons are appearing. I've flowers on aubergines, toms, peppers? and okra. There's flowers on my beans and courgettes. I've decided the fruit section will be next to tackle after herb section is finished.

Did a little weeding and planted some veg in the garden, bit of watering. A gentle weeding session is planned for tomorrow.

I'm resting, had soup with fresh bread for tea 😃

My day of rest was taking nibbles to SIL furballs, bottle bank glass smash, nipped round T and the CS.

Picked up 2 nice boxes £3 each with goodies in them, leftovers from when the CS did raffles and 2 items will go to my local CS all the rest was useful eg hand creams, pack of cards; I only wanted the boxes for 3rd home. I got a satin teal cushion, couple of summer dresses and cafetiere / matching cups which is great for loose herbal tea leaves.
    - Had a great chat with the manager and my business card is pinned to their staff board 🤭

Had real bread with french butter for lunch; buy some if ever you see it for sale!

Spent a few hours weeding the neighbours garden, planted some flowers and weeded some of his back garden. Watered ours. Sowed wildflower seeds in a patch hubs cleared in No6's garden and watered them. Decided I've pushed my luck, got too hot, and went inside.

Covered my hand in a bag and managed a shower. Replaced my plaster and have put a bit too much stress on one stitch, but it's not popped.

Tomorrow I'll be at 2nd home assuming weather is nice, going to the bank, popping to SILs with more furball nibbles and getting milkshake from A1D1. I also need to finish building hall shelving and do some of the admin list.

    Thank you Skinty

    No, it was focaccia 🤭

I'm trying not to overdo it but can't seem to slow down at the moment. I've only a few months left of good weather and want to make the most of it.

Did a basic anxiety awareness class, then a specific nail product course (passed) yesterday.

I've enrolled on the body wrap course, the products are expensive (£150). I've found other wraps and my facial co has everything else; saves about £130!
    - 18 modules done so far; 11 modules, 3 practices + the practical test to do.

I have updated FBM and current academy about my op and the slight delay with practicing / taking my tests, both very understanding and said no rush.

Finally found a way of making the wound site comfy, plaster, then layers of cotton wool and a support bandage 😃

Had cheese and pickle rolls for tea.

I love the sound of the mini packages  :) Just what I need. A shame I'm not closer

Thank you DIA if ever you're up here let me know!

I think packages or combo's are the way to go, especially if I can keep them affordable.
Doing the body wrap training I'm contemplating 30/30/15 mins scrub to detox / massage for the oil benefits on fresh skin / drink and chill.

5 modules, 3 practices (case studies) + test left. I'll finish the modules tomorrow and start enlisting models 🤭

I should have potential dates for the FBM test this week as I'm keen to get stones and reflex underway.

I've only done my day job and had a late break nap. Resisted 2nd home visit.

We had beef chunks in a tomato and veg sauce on giant pasta shells 😁

  • Packages sound good 😊 When I lived down south we used to have a qualified beauty therapist visit a group of us girls for an afternoon. I used to have a 15min head & neck massage and a 15 minute drainage facial cost £20 (pre covid). Felt fantastic after but had to drink loads of water so I like the idea of drink & chill ☺️

    Thanks Skinty

I've mooted the idea with a couple of clients and they like the idea of packages too, just need to put them together and ensure they're priced right and compliment each other.

I'm waiting to hear from FBM tutor with potential test dates.
Haven't yet finished the BW modules but I'll get them done over the next few days; model is ready and insurance was updated when course booked, as usual.

I'm fully booked next the two Friday's one AM / one PM; big treatments hence only having two. I'll run adverts to cover availability over the month.
    - No bookings tomorrow and so I'm having a long weekend; gives me recovery time as stitches are out Monday.

Hubs is taking us out tomorrow as I was ill for our anniversary; totally surprised me!
Sunday we're visiting A&U, I'll be weeding their garden.
    Hospital and 3rd home Monday.
I'll slip in admin, training and rest 🤭
