    Thank you FP and SH

Originally, I'd hoped to be established, with sufficient client base, for when my contract ends in 7m. Now I've my salon it would be a little easier on the finance if that got extended again 😔 but I'd look to drop some hours and increase beauty.

I've set a huge challenge of making £75 each day I'm open, retail isn't included, plus £25 for any evenings as I won't do 'small' bookings eg just a brow wax.

Had a gardening day yesterday, which was relaxing. Today we had breakfast at McD, I picked a few plants up at a garden centre and we visited A&U.
    - did A's nails, she loved the salon photos and next visit will be nails and a facial.

Having my stitches out in the morning 😁

    Thank you DIA

I'm following the path my tog mate did, I miss our chats but worth losing those to see she's happier now! I've already planted the seed about reducing my hours again 🤭

Stitches are out, nurse is referring me to a physio and not the surgeon; he can also make further referrals so I'll see what happens.
    - I'll buy a specific product from my facial co as it's also proven to reduce scarring.
    - There's a tender part but the rest is fine for pressure being applied.

I've my FBM test a week Friday 😃 hopefully that will go ok and I can move on to HS and reflexology 😃😃

Due to interchangable weather I've stayed in after getting home. I had deliberately purchased reduced price bananas last week and they were perfect for baking a walnut and banana bread / cake; I've had 3 slices 🤭

Finances are looking good despite drop in savings which is for an excellent reason. Glad your stitches are out and you are feeling better. Hope the physio helps.

Thank you SH, Skinty and DFW321

I'll be adding 10% towards tax to my 'business' CA although I don't expect to have a large bill, if anything this year.
    - if I get close to the higher tax rate due to beauty and day job, I'll drop some more hours 😊

I'm still looking into business accounts, with free book keeping software, and payment companies through my normal bank. For some reason I've just not completed the application 😔

Still need to find an accountant! I'll add a bit to the pot to cover that cost too.
    - once all the 'carry forward' has been used If be able to do my own accounts.

I've been doing bits of training over the last few days, slowly chipping away.

Used my new nail co hard gels, created a french polish look and I'm really impressed with them, great quality and coverage.
    - I'm attending a load of their webinars to up my knowledge, standard and rebuild more confidence; it's helping bring my passion back for this part of my business.

    Had a great day.

Client arrived early, we had a good natter which helped calm my nerves. Tutor was really impressed how I altered things due to the clients health and mine, the fact I would explain what I was doing and why, said she's absolutely no concerns with how I performed the routine and I passed 🍾
    - just need to write up a case study, based on today and prior experience with this client and that's it all done 🎉

Treated the client to more of a massage and a facial as a thank you. We also had chocs to celebrate.

Barely had time to breathe and my next client was in and I told her the good news; we celebrated after her treatments too.

I've organised packages for both of these clients, within their budgets and with little extras thrown in as and when needed eg brow wax or nail treatment. I get regular block time bookings and the extras only cost me about 50p. Clients feel special, while having targeted and affordable treatments.

Based on current takings and bookings I'll only have to put £200 to the rent from income. I've got adverts out and will do package adverts next week as that is the way I want my business to go.

    Plans for the week:
    - order the sign for my salon (Sept)
    - order vouchers for salon (Sept)
    - case study (started)
    - update price list (Sept)
    - finish body wrap learning (Week)
    - order body wrap (Sat) ✓
    - visit A&U, pamper A (Sun) ✓
    - see MIL (Mon) ✓
    - work on 2nd home (Mon) ✓
    - order additional storage (week)
    - pay cash into bank (Next week)
    - sort business account (week)
    - wax legs, brows, underarm (Sat) ✓
    - tint brows and lashes (Week)
    - resolve printer issues (Week) ✓
    - nail tip course (Week) (New to list)
    - e-file course (next week) (New to list)

    Have I missed anything?
