Thank you SH and SYA, my leg isn't so vibrant as it was yesterday!

The weather isn't too good up here so I won't make it out to the garden to do much, merely a once over to make sure everything is happy. Pain increases with cold weather.

I had the option of paying the expensive things over 6 months on my CC, but now they took the extra payment I may as well clear it. The interest really wasn't much, so is a useful option to have.

    Today I hope to do:
    Washing up;
    Pop to the butcher;
    Long shower.

    Tomorrow's plans:
    Test area on lounge units.
-- debating a whitewash or solid white. Will do both on the unit being taken out and see which we prefer.

    Have a good weekend!

    Thank you SW.

The weather hasn't picked up today, but it doesn't feel oppressive as I can look out the window and people watch.

I did complete my to do list and while on my way to the butcher decided to see where a path led. I took a few photos and need to work out how to get to the edge of the bay; it the view from the back of home.

Will try and go out tomorrow and explore another road or path, if it isn't raining too much.

Over £98 in survey money so far.

Moved a bit of money to savings.

Had pork chop and veg for tea, followed by ice cream.

£23 in the bank, 13 days until payday.

Can't you use Google Earth to map your way around?
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

That's what I've been doing to find these interesting places 😁 before lockdown I spent hours searching the internet to see what was around, stopped when everything went on hold then when I had the two week notice everything was going to happen I did it all again. Now I want the adventure of working out how to connect it all and have the surprise at the end when I get to where I want to.

If I tell OH where I want to go and see he goes off for a walk to see what's possible, whether I will make it there and back and comes back with a load of photos showing what I wanted to see 🤨 I've now learned not to say anything!

    Thank you SYA and SH.

I've not had an adventure today as I'm wiped out from yesterday, got up just after 4am which hasn't helped either. I guess Saturdays are my adventure OR home things day and Sundays my rest day 😁

So far I've popped to the garden to open the greenhouse, done the washing up, shredding, had a lovely brunch of sausage and egg on toast then a nap.

I'm used to having a nice bowl of cereal, bacon and egg on toast, burgers, noodles etc in the day, I guess I'm spoiling myself a bit.

I've managed to annoy my sibling by saying to lower expectations for when he buys a home, so he can actually do it. Hasn't gone down too well 😔 we all have big dreams, I am a realist and know what could be done on his income. I do feel guilty for saying it though 😐

It is a lovely day today, the last few days have been quite foggy, not sure if it's been the same for you?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I did see fog one day this week at 5-6am but the rest of the time it has been v clear. Today was gorgeous but like you I was too tired to appreciate it. lol. You have the benefit of hindsight your sibling will appreciate it I am sure eventually. I hope you had a lovely rest and wish you a good week next week.

    Thank you SW.
When I started over I had made up my mind I wasn't going to max myself out on a mortgage. I wanted flexibility and not have to stay earning what I am until retirement and manage it on one salary.

Sibling has only recently started saving everything 99p and under and bulk saving. Is now regretting having finance and a loan to buy a nearly new car especially when working out how much is needed for the home.

I've just worked it out and it's 18.6x Income for what sibling wants to do, but may have taken onboard my comments as I'm getting sent links to a lot cheaper things. It does worry me as sibling is older than me and still living in the family home. Parent isn't getting younger, has been showing signs of dementia / Alzheimer's for years and sibling will end up homeless when the time comes. Sibling is lucky that the career choice can be done anywhere in the world, let alone the UK.

Just got to see what happens!

Cheese on toast for tea 🤗
