    Thanks SH

SIL is bursting to tell people she knows and fills up with tears of joy whenever she thinks of our day; part will be relief TomBo is stable and has been since we got together.

I've just finished the last of the wedding cake, I did have it for breakfast.

I updated my name at the Drs last week as they missed a script request. Unfortunately, I've been without the med that makes a difference to my life for a few days and it's beginning to show. I'll be first at the door when they open in a few hours.

I did a test of my new semi-perm colour, just the sides and it's really nice; gives the high / lowlights look I like and it's more 'natural'. I'll do the rest of it this week.

Didn't get the job, but at least it wasn't a straight win for the one who was getting it 😄 very positive feedback.
    - TomBo didn't get his either, no experience in the dept which they knew from his app!

I did a tom harvest yesterday and we had them as a pasta sauce. It was mainly off my bush plants and I'm contemplating growing several of them next year, a row along one side of my GH with another row above them. It would leave me space for full-size plants and I could get round easier.

Depending on the weather, I'll potentially have the slabs and cold frames in place Friday 😀 not sure if I said, but 4 of my tayberry cuttings have roots!

  • Think we may have cross posted 😆 am so pleased to hear you so happy. Sorry you didn’t get the jobs but there is always next time & great to hear positive feedback.

    Thanks Skinty and DIA

We did cross post! I've been nattering away to SIL all day about it 🤭

After hearing what the job involves, I'm so not interested as it's not what it the specs imply.

I coloured all my hair today, towel dried and pinned it up. Gave it a 5 min zap with the hairdryer a few hours later and took it down, resulting in big curly hair.

Collected the wedding photos and I'll create the album tomorrow; my mate (photographer) loved my hair and lashes as she's only seen photos I've sent.

I'll wash and pin my hair, do my brows and paint my nails tomorrow ready for visiting MIL.

We had chippy night due to me popping out when we'd normally eat.

    All done ☺️

Got taken to a greasy spoon, with great reviews, for breakfast. We were not that impressed.

Popped to T for MIL flowers and I picked up a pair of jeans in the same style / size as I picked up a while back.

MIL loved the flowers, album and our news. She's picked out some for larger reprints and I'll get them ordered next month. We had bacons for lunch.
A&U were super happy with the news.
As I've had my hair cut before showing A what it was like down, I pulled the 'before' pic up on my phone and she was speechless at the length 🤭

We got pizza for tea, ate it in the car as it's miles away from home, and it was the best pizza ever. All handmade and able to watch the process, owner was passionate about all his menu and products. We'll definitely return!

Haven't long got home and I've got my feet up, we're both very tired after our adventures.

Thank you Skinty, SH and DIA

I'm pleased it's all in the open. For a giggle MIL calls me DIL and I call her mom 🤭
A&U told cousins as I have no contact details for them and TomBo wouldn't say anything.
I've made up 'favours' today and can start handing them out. Feels like the longest wedding celebration and we've still got the family reception meal(s) to have yet 😄

TomBo sold his old bike yesterday and handed me two crisp £50 notes, with instructions to spend it on me. We went to 'town' first thing. I popped into Pr1mark and got some beauty stuff, joggers, hat, smalls and other bits. After that I popped to sup3rdrug and got spares of my new hair colour, small curlers and various other hair related things. Lastly, I popped to b-shop for conditioner. Spent £85 in an hour 😮 and while waiting to meet up with TomBo I wanted to return most of it, but had a word with myself as the money was to indulge.
    - sale and discounted items which made the money go further.

Popped to 2nd home to do more light weeding, added chip wood and bark to my flower section. It's very slow going but I've done enough to see it'll look great when finished. New joggers were comfy.

We had Chinese takeaway for tea, used £10 of my leftover money and I've only £5 left for a little indulgence.
