Removing the climbing plant sounds like hard work. Is there no one else in the building who can help? Seems a bit unfair for it all to be on you when it’s causing you so much pain

Unfortunately, no one else to ask. I'll do a better job alone. Filled the remaining bin tonight and I'll make a start on cutting and builders sack bagging tomorrow.
Lunchtime I was at 2nd home and made a start gathering the chip bark from the new section. I'll scrape it all up tomorrow and can separate a bit each day as a gentle task.

Good news on the interview.
Eek to pinching your tummy with the secateurs. I caught the palm near my thumb recently and that was bad enough.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Ouch, that doesn't sound good either!
Yesterday I harvested from 2nd home, filled a basket with spuds, rhubarb, toms, strawberries and other delights!
Made a start on another section today, with help from B. We've dug / weeded half of it already and put slabs down to see how they look, they'll be fitted properly next week and I can put the cold frames in place after that.
- We're doing one day a week on B's 2nd home and one day on mine. We'll have both plots looking great pretty quickly at this rate.
I've managed to get hold of a dinner fork for intricate weeding and will do the flower strip tomorrow, adding a decent layer of bark wood chips for decoration / weed suppression.
My lash in-fill apt was today. Had a good natter and at one point I felt myself dropping off to sleep 🤭 she was also
Ppleased to hear I'm doing different hairstyles. I gave her a bag of homegrown goodies.
Lastly, the full set of wedding photos are available and I've ordered a printed set for MIL. I'll order our set next payday.
We're having takeaway curry for tea.

TomBo's family are still not aware. We're seeing MIL next week and hopefully see local family to tell them over the weekend.
I always knew which photo would be the 'display' one, there wasn't a better one with the full set which captured the love, tenderness and bond like it did; they all captured their own unique part of the day and my heart bursts with joy looking at them.
I'm totally busy down 2nd home. Each time it rains I gather up the water and add it to my barrels, that's always the first task while sipping coffee. I've got 4 piles of bark chip which I'm separating and getting weeds / seeds off so I can repurpose it; I'll gather up loads more to sort as there's a few sections with it and cleaning the chips is a gentle task to do.
I had a bit of a tidy up today as I've acquired useful items over the last few weeks and just plonked them on my plot, looks a bit better now. I also put frames over my strawbs.
My plan for the forthcoming week is to keep sorting the chips. Weed two parts of flower strips and add a thick layer of chips. Do more of the section with B's help, get slabs laid and put cold frames into position.
We had spaghetti with a tomato sauce for tea, rainbow ice cream for pudding and 2nd pudding is fresh fruit picked today ☺️Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Having a chill out day.
We've been to the tip, done food shopping, popped to a charity shop and saw SIL.
Told SIL our 'news', privately, she burst out crying, kept hugging both of us and said she was so happy we did it. She said MIL will be thrilled and we need a family party to celebrate after everyone is told; that was the plan and I mentioned a few ideas. SIL said TomBo wouldn't have coped with a full wedding. I've sent the wedding photos to her.
- Turns out SIL and BIL want to do the same as we did!
TomBo is batch cooking, we've had a bit of a clear out of glassware and I've got my feet up. I'll have a shower in a bit.
We'll be watching films and that's about all our plans 😀
