I've tweaked my CV. I was happy with the wording I put in, but not the order. I'll start serious job hunting tomorrow, targeting most of my usual agencies, not the one who placed me here, while looking directly at companies too.
Not long until BH, I'll either be in the garden or DIY painting, maybe both, depending on the weather.
I'm having a relaxed evening, with my feet up and some old sci fi.
Had soup and bread for tea, biscuits for pudding.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Skinty, it's supposed to be sunny 😊
I'm uncovering so many financial errors at work, it explains why they're in such a mess.
I've sent my CV off to several agencies, one totally misread my CV and I've pointed this out to them. I also applied for a couple of positions. I'll keep repeating this every day until I secure a new role; TomBo has told me to look at PS as there's loads of roles going, I told him he can take my CV in 🤭
- I perfected my covering letter for this round of job searches.
Each weekend I can apply directly for roles as I can spend time looking for them. Weekdays will be conveyor belt agency applications as I've had a lot of contact with them over the years.
TomBo is worried about my IBS as I'm seriously struggling. I read out what I'm not supposed to have and it's ruled out nearly everything we eat.
We had chicken and peppers in a spicy tomato based sauce with rice.
My long weekend plans are sort my clothes out, DIY paint, potter in the garden, read the books I previously purchased as a refresher as my immediate future me will the thankful.

Weekend plans sound great. Good luck with your job applications 🤞
Is your ibs stress related? If so hopefully it will settle down once you are out of there.

Thanks Skinty and SH
A lot of the issues I'm currently having are due to eating a lot of cake, doughnuts, biscuits, budget bread, pasta etc but in one day, rather than just one type a day; my tummy is definitely ok with the expensive bread I'm buying, I just shouldn't have the other stuff.
I had a gluten free roll with soup for lunch today, the GFR could have passed itself off as being a nice quality wheat roll. I've found the shop which makes them and payday I'll put an order in if I'm ok today / tomorrow.
Somehow I've managed to do a couple of applications today. I'm getting quite confident in my approach and flowering up / being flamboyant with alternative wording for "my CV speaks for itself as I'm that good at what I do". Anyhow, it's working and I've a call next week about a role paying upto £37k plus benefits.
I don't expect to land a position quickly, nor do I expect to get the right one straight away. What I'm aiming for is to get back on track, grab more experience and then target where I want to be in a couple of years, climbing back up to where I was and see how far I can go. As with clearing debt and saving, I'm taking it one step at a time.
My alarm is switched off, I've a long weekend ahead of me and I'm going to enjoy it!
Not sure what TomBo is cooking for tea, but it smells like pork, onions and I've not sussed the rest yet 😀Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
