You could insist. I would. I refuse to see certain family members on my birthday so they don't get chance to ruin it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SHI don't have that worry now with my side of the family. I do adore his relatives, it's how I expect family to be, unlike what I had.I'm doing some reading about dating someone on the spectrum and will have to find more to get through.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

Survived work and the commute on 45 minutes sleep, was left to get on with stuff today and I said I'll pick up training again tomorrow.
Bank rewards received and paid to the mortgage, with a bit extra. Only £300 to find and I must check what is outstanding to have the best chance at meeting the target.

The sad side.
I think it's getting to me now, based on how much I've cried this weekend. The funeral is next week and hopefully once that's done I'll settle down a bit.
Three estate refunds received, paid in via the app and estate accounts updated.
Edit to add: just had the funeral service come through, couple of tweaks and I've returned it to the celebrant.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Glad refunds are arriving and that you managed to do a day at work. Take it easy tonight you are dealing with so much.Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Glad refunds are coming in. Perhaps it would be worth taking some of the extra bereavement leave you were offered.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Thanks SW, SH and C
If it was my old place I would have taken all the leave and got sick notes, however I want to have a good go at my new role and make it work. It's just sometimes the quiet means my head takes over, swallows me and doesn't let me out.
It's not long until I break up for Christmas, I've only got 4.5 working days, plus my 'holiday'.
Following opticians advice a 'minor' eye problem caused about a quarter of my face to flare up. Local chemist looked and told me to see the Dr, somehow got an appointment and the Dr took one look at me and handed over two prescriptions. Not long got home.
- I dislike how my body reacts to things, but this backs up my theory about what is wrong with me.
