Glad you are settling in, that drive sounds tough but i hope it will be easier as the days get brighter after Christmas. Do you think there is any chance they will pay for your training courses?

Glad things are going well. Hope Tombo can get the time off.

  • Thanks SW, I wouldn't like to ask as it's quite a small company. The courses don't cost much and I'll be in a better financial position next year to save a bit each month.

Thanks SH, so do I, but I doubt he will ask.

Work is going well and I'm settling in nicely. I'm having laughs, feel part of the company and I take each day as it comes. I get trained on one aspect, watched for a bit and then left to get on with it, get trained on another, then another. As I get a pile of one thing to do, it's sinking in and staying. I'm even figuring out $ag3. It feels like I've learned so much already 😀

I'm thinking there may be some energy to actually do things the weekend, but I won't rush and will slowly start increasing what I do. Maybe by summer I'll have a good work / life balance going.

Payday tomorrow 🤗 and again next week 🤗🤗

We had Indian chicken curry and rice for tea.

  • I am  so chuffed that it feels good even though it is a new place. Everything is so much better here. So glad you are out of old place. Yum to curry.

  • Thanks SW and Skinty

Seems like ages ago I left the other place. Now I'll look at the clock and time hasn't stood still.

Whether it's a family trip or not, I'm booking a hotel with a pool. I need to de-stress and unwind each day.

TomBo got up and I must have fallen asleep again, next thing I knew my alarm was going off.

I reworked my numbers last night and have been paid today.

  • Thanks LW2G and SH

Had a lovely week, being taught how to do my role and figuring other bits out as I go along; I would be taught them I'm just getting ahead a little. Feedback is positive and we had a company lunch today 😀 cake in the afternoon as someone is leaving and I'm still full!

I don't feel too tired, but am in pain. I'll be taking some equipment in next week to make like a little more comfortable.

It's sleet / snow and high winds for a few days, I'll probably stay in and potter around.

I'm having chip roll for tea, but I really don't want to eat yet.

  • The sad side

I was driving in yesterday, a song came on and I burst out crying, couldn't bring myself to move it along as I thought it was better to get it out my system.

Had the death certificate arrive today and one bill, I'm having a few hours tomorrow of dealing with everything.

I'm also booking a hotel for the three of us tomorrow.
