Thanks SW, it's just the dregs of savings now like leftover food shopping budget and unused commute costs each week, the bulk goes in at the start of each month.
My pain spasms have eased, TomBo is resting but we've eaten and settling down to watch TV. My cat had 1.5 fish fingers and wanted more!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks Skinty, SH and SWI think TomBo put the mattress on the wrong way and I ended up with his side. He switched it yesterday and it wasn't as painful getting up today, but could be a lot better.
He's not feeling as bad, but still not 100%, hasn't stopped him running errands for me today.
The weather isn't supposed to be that good this weekend. I've decided to get the porcibule finished. Touch up the ceiling, finish the front door and get some gloss on the dado and inner hall frame. In theory next weekend I can get the hall finished.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
I hope you both feel even better v soon. The weather is rubbish. I always thought people decorated in the summer this forum is brilliant at decorating!!! Well done you.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks SW, I want to be outside in summer, not doing DIY and stuck inside 😃
Hopefully I can get everything refreshed this year as I don't want it dragging into 2022.
One more day until my long weekend!
We had cheese burgers for tea. Could be seen as naughty on a diet but I only had coffee today.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Thanks SW and SHPlanning painting, planting potatoes and sowing seeds, present shopping and delivery, art painting and rest.
Two birthdays this month, SIL and A-IL, won't cost much physical money as I've cashed in some vouchers. I've donated some to TomBo for a bottle of whiskey as a treat for him
I'm still using this art painting as a way of experimenting with different ideas, concepts, techniques and brush strokes. I don't expect it to be something I want to hang up, but can reuse the canvas, and a few others, while I learn.
- next year I won't have to refer to this as art painting, hopefully!
I've also asked sibling if they can make the garden furniture I want, would cost about £400 if I buy them.
- The answer was yes, but with a daft reason why I would have a long wait.
Done a bit of housework after I finished today, now I'm taking it easy.
The JL cutlery arrived the other day, looks nice and has been used ever since.
Not sure how the weather is by you but we've had sun, rain, hail and thunder so far.
Had homemade lamb Chinese curry, plums for pudding and will have to find more food later as the last few days I've struggled to reach my cal intake.
£152 in the bank, £2 for bank fee and waiting on the utility bill; no, they haven't resolved the ongoing saga. 15 days until payday.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
