Thanks SH. I know there isn't a 'fix'.
All I can do is occasionally offer to keep him out of a situation which cause a lot of anxiety etc. Maybe it's the wrong thing for me to do, but he won't change his meds or tell the Dr what he thinks is 'wrong'.
I've been drinking fizzy water squash the last 2 days and it's working really well, like having pop but a fraction of the cost.
- I have looked into buying a fizzy maker, but it's just not cost effective.
I finally got round to doing my hair and nail varnish. Made me feel more human.
As I like challenges, I've set myself a target of making £3 a week minimum in survey points. If it's consistently too easy, I will review it.
TomBo has been in and out the kitchen all day. So far I've sampled meringue and cinnamon swirls. He wasn't happy with the swirls, but for a first attempt I thought they were good.
We had vegetarian risotto and leftover homemade bread turned into croutons for tea.

Glad you made time for self care. Survey challenge sounds good as does the meringue... Tasty.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I've eaten the last of them, as I didn't think they would still be fresh in the morning SH.
Unfortunately, I don't make enough me time, I'm beginning to recognise that. Ito usually 'us', TomBo or SIL I focus on.
I will schedule things in the calendar and make sure I stick to it. 3 hours pamper a month to start with and £10 budget, as that will cover beauty costs at home with the change going towards a few professional appointments each year. I've a jar to keep the money in.
Tomorrow I am going to start my landscape painting.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Had a lazy day today, pottering around but not really doing anything of substance. I've set up my canvas, got my cookery book out and also grabbed my word search book.
I have ordered a fizzy water maker. It's a brand, but not that big brand - cost £20.
'Borrowed' from myself and will pay it back payday. Should be delivered by next weekend.
While I'm careful with gas and electric usage, recycle, reuse, I'm economical with products and have a lot of previously loved items, I can do so much more by not having 2L pop / fizzy water bottles!
I am always on the lookout for other ways of saving money and doing my bit, but I'm fast running out of areas I can cut back 🙈
- I feel self-sufficiency is getting closer, but have no interest in making clothes.

I read your last few posts and honestly felt relaxed after a strange day. It feels like you have a warm, cozy system that works. What is bizarre is that you are doing it all in a pandemic when the world is going a bit crazy. That food is cheering me up and making me feel warm which i need as it's raining here. I think you do lots to save money and a £3 target for surveys sounds brilliant. Hurrah!Aiming for a minimal spend 20223

Thank you SW. I think because we don't go out to pubs, restaurants, parties, cinema etc, carried on as normal, just cut down on trips out and focused on the garden, it's bouncing off us now we're here.
I set the canvas up and got the colours ready SH. So when I finish work tomorrow I can make a start on it, even if it's one mountain.
- feels like I'm procrastinating when it's things for me, need to overcome those feelings as it's fine for me to go off and do my hobbies!

Even though I'm WAH and TomBo's around a lot, we don't get much 'us' time. Quality 'us' time is when we are in the garden or on an adventure trip.
I've decided to set a schedule for my hobbies, as I seem to 'work' better that way. Sunday's are definitely my day of rest so I can tackle the new week and earn money for this lifestyle.
I'm gathering loads of things I want to do eg art, photography, drawing, puzzles, reading, pamper, baking, jam making and other food processing etc.
Then trying to slot it in around work, surveys and my volunteer role.
Plus I've got DIY, the garden and helping SIL with her allotment when the weather picks up.
I should probably do the arty things on Friday's and Saturday's, with the sit-down things on the Sunday as I can combine that with resting 😃Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
