Sleeping on sofa is tough. OMG It's great that you have an effective plan though.

Why were you on the sofa? Are you talking about a bed for your second bedroom? You will get there...

  • Thank you SW and SH.
Most nights I tend to wake up about an hour after going to bed, when that happens it's difficult to settle and so I get up. The only place I can go is the sofa and that's why I need a bed of some kind in the second bedroom.
    - Some nights I wake up and drop off each time I turn over.
    - Nights like tonight I wake up, keep turning every minute or two, to try and get comfy but don't go back to sleep. Stay awake til about 4 / 5 am, then get an hour or two sleep on the sofa.

I've got up to see a healthy dose of snow outside 😁

  • My cat was very active last night LW2G, playing with toys, sliding all over the floor, walking between the different rooms, but I managed a bit of sleep.

When TomBo goes to work I'm going to try fitting part of the draft excluder sponge foam, scrape the paint off the lounge glass door panels and clean the bathroom. Then it's feet up and films til he returns.

Lunch is cheese, meat selection and crackers, tea will probably be spicy lentil soup (homemade) or if I'm lazy noodles 😁

How old is your cat? We have 2 but they are definitely well past the playful stage.
    Spicy lentil soup sounds lovely

  • She's 13, never been that active and annoyed with me as I took her blankets and washed them!

  • How weird is it that my dog is 13 and also gives me her long-suffering look when I wash her blankies? If you say your cat is ginger I will really freak out..... :D

  • No Ren, not ginger.
Interesting fact - it's very rare for a girl cat to be ginger; ginger and white yes, but not pure ginger 😁
Think because I've fed her several times, she now accepts the clean blanket. I'm trying to dry the others off so she has another one to snuggle in bedtime. It's 0° here overnight!
