Quick update - Cat situation not much better, had to do an emergency dash with him due to excess blood yesterday and that cost me yet more money! He has to go back next week and I think it might be a ongoing thing so have rung up for a claim form anyway.
Got 5 or 6 things on ebay, the Nintendo has a bid on it and someone has offered me £100 already if I let them buy it now but think I will let the auction run its course and see what I get. Some money from ebay will HAVE to repay some of xmas spending and DS needs a "grown up" bed so hopefully will have enough to buy that. So effectively may not reduce my signature but will assist in buying stuff we need. Have got loads of small stuff to go on and I MUST MUST MUST do it tonight, but I get distracted....:rolleyes:0 -
me to hon, looooooads of stuff and i keep looking at it and can't be ar**ed frankly. fancy doing 4 things a night for the next however long it takes?
Bad news re poor puss, have they any idea what is wrong with him?debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Ok P, 4 things a night it is - it is just soooooooo boring doing it when I keep flicking to other more interesting things on the internet as well! The thought of sorting DS's bedroom out should inspire me though.
No idea what is wrong with cat, some cyst or something. The only problem is he now has do his "doings" inside the house and he has forgotten how to :rolleyes:0 -
Quick update....nearly a week on and I have finally got everything on ebay - god I was sooooo bored of doing it but now all done and dusted :j
Best news of all was that I got £155 for the Nintendo, far more than I paid for it and so this is the money needed to buy DS a new bed :j Not sure how much of my stuff will go on ebay this week as it's so close to Xmas, but if it doesn't sell then I will re-list it in January.
Cat still not good - everytime the cyst heals he manages to break the wound again (despite a plastic collar). I am so sick of cleaning up bodily fluids from himand added to that he decided to sleep on top of the sky box where the said bodily fluids leaked into it and he broke it  Managed to get a replacement off ebay for a replacement box, but still.................
Have currently got the OU screen up on the computer. I desperately want to do a Creative Writing course but it is £145. DH said he will pay for it as a xmas present, but it seems a little OTT bearing in mind our debts. I just want to do it and will have to wait until May otherwise for the next one to come round. I do have some quidco money coming but that was allocated to a card........
My other quandry is that I was due to pay £250 off the virgin card this month but for some reason they only want £25 as a minimum payment. I am wondering whether to start overpaying the smallest CC debt first as an incentive rather than splitting it between all the debts? At the moment I am paying the most off the one whose 0% deal is finishing in May, but my smallest CC is £1200 and it would be lovely to have one less CC, I think I could repay that in 4 months with overpayments and it would be a mental boost I think. Not sure what to do for the best0 -
Hi BAUK! I would pay off the one that gives you the biggest boost - because it is the boost that will get you debt free as it will keep you motivated.
Check the small print on the Virgin card - you don't want to take advantage of a reduced monthly payment if they are going to clobber you for more later on!
Sorry the cat still isn't well, and ewwww to the bodily fluids  Fab news on the ebaying though :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
See you always think of the other stuff Hypno, like the small print! Will check it out tonight, due to make the payment today or tomorrow so will make a decision on that one. Would just be nice to have one less piece of paper to file in the "file of doom"
I have just realised a small faux pas on my behalf. Had to be in mega early today and didn't have time to wash hair this morning so used good old reliable dry shampoo - and it would appear I forgot to brush it out :rotfl: Fortunately I drove in but my boss has just turned up and was obviously very concerned i had a terrible dandruff moment :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: oh the shame!!!!! Thank god I didn't get the train like normal though. I blame it on being a DFW, I was saving shampoo0 -
I have this wonderful vision of you - tres professional, but with a twist.......dry shampoo.......gym balls.......:rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

And you would be entirely right - appearances are just so deceptive. If only the people I represented knew the real me, they would run a mile :rotfl:0

hey hon hope your ok and puss (or should that be shortened to pus LOL) is getting better!! Well I didn't get ANYTHING listed on ebay AT ALL over the last week. I let you down on that score i'm ashamed to say.
Had to laugh out at the dry shampoo and thank goodness it wasn't a train day!! have a good one hon, I'll be around on gmail later this avo if you fancy a chat. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Naughty P! What happened to our 4 a day??? My computer has been a nightmare though, DH had to lend me his in the end. I hate, hate, hate the whole listing malarky but now it is done and shoved back in the corner. Go on, get 4 done today......go on........
How is DH's job going, any news on your CV you dropped off?
I am going to ring round later to see if there is any more news on the marathon places, keep your fingers crossed for me
I know re hair, can you imagine if I had got on the train  I straightened my hair and then put the dry shampoo on to make it look...erm....less greasy and then got distracted de-icing the car. My boss compared me to a christmas tree with snow spray on -
Should be around later, am going home this morning, just came in to do a visit and then got haircut later - decision to make - fringe or no fringe!?!?! Will try and gmail later, be good to catch up x0
