i hope someone can help me i had an nps final demand telling me I had to pay £100 several weeks after i was supposed to have returned within an hour to a car park owned by nps.i have ms and cant remember next day sometimes, but I thought this was a scam as the letter said I could not appeal to popla .I thought this just a con so I ignored the letter.then about a month later I got a legal recovery letter from a company called dcbl saying they were collecting the fine which had gone up to £160,so I contacted nps saying I had no idea I had parked twice and saying to them this was unfair and I would happily go to court they sent me an email saying they had put it on record, then got another letter from dcbl sayingit was legal recovery action saying as I had not paid or contacted them (I have proof I both contacted nps by email and got response}they said nps would take legal action.i banged off another email and got reply to say was on file I told them I would consider suing them if they did not stop harassing me as was making me ill.i heard nothing for nearly 2 months then today got 2 letters from them both same saying was letter of claim and they said they had put copy the practice direction for me(once again they lied they had not)I have since found this online but I don't know what to do now many thanks in advance for any advice

You need to be reading the NEWBIES thread.
It's difficult to read your opening post, but it looks like the second post on the NEWBIES thread is most appropriate.
You will get so much more from this forum if you use a proper computer rather than a mobile telephone. For a start you may find it easier to write posts that are easier to read - spaced out and with proper punctuation.0 -
Dcbl are fully covered in post four of the Newbies sticky.
The rest of the thread will inform and prepare you for any next steps.0 -
i am writing on a computer, but i have multiple sclerosis, and as my brain scarred i find concentration and punctuation quite hard but ty for your comment made me feel valued0

Can you go to your local law centre and see if they can write a response for you for free? Many large cities have a free law centre if you Google it.
Not the CAB! They are worse than useless.
Same as all the exact same threads posted this week...we assume all of you newbies with tedious (exactly the same) NPS letters have all been reading the forum and have been in touch with each other:

...we can't do this umpteen dozen times in duplicate so please get together to prevent us having to answer the same thing throughout when your claims arrive/
Maybe you are all local to each other as well. Someone might assist you while doing theirs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
