Hi,
I recently lost a parking ticket appeal in court with BW legal for Britannia Parking.
I paid that fine in full and now I've received a letter from Northern Parking Services for a ticket in 2016 apparently.
It seems a little strange that after I just paid one fine im now being chased 4 years later by a different company that ive had no correspondence with?
Has anyone has any experience with this?

Did you get a ticket from NPS in 2016?0

The two situations appear to be unconnected and unrelated. This is a new parking charge (albeit old), but it seems that NPS are chasing lots of their old unpaid cases.
Is the letter headed 'Letter of Claim' (or similar)? Does it give you 30 days to respond and is it accompanied with some guidance notes and a financial questionnaire?a different company that ive had no correspondence with? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Ah well I’m glad they’re not connected, the letterhead is letter of claim and I have moved address since 2016 as the letter went to my old address and was forwarded on.0

You need to send a Data Rectification Notice to NPS and/or the sender of the letter by e-mail to the DPO of NPS informing them of your new address for service and requiring them to ERASE your old data. You don't want a CCJ by default because you didn't receive papers!0

question about the case you lost, did it include an extra £60 costs from BW?
How much was the claim for?
As for the current parking charge notice (note these are not fines)
Who's car park was it, and why did the vehicle get a parking charge notice ?

The BW legal claim was ongoing for a while I disputed it all the way to county court but couldn't attend the court date (due to moving down the country) so informed the court a few weeks prior to this and they still decided against my claim. This claim stated £100 costs £1 interest and £100 damages
In regards to this notice, from Northern Parking Services it states Letter of Claim the car in question entered the carpark on 1st oct 16, thats all it states,0 -
I will try again. How recently did you lose and are you still able to appeal?
And re the NPS one, this is the same as all the exact same threads posted this week...we assume all of you newbies with tedious (exactly the same) NPS letters have all been reading the forum and have been in touch with each other:
