Couple of days ago, I was thinking to myself (as I often do)...if SRS had been a normal human being, his signs at Berkley Centre would clearly state: "1 hour free parking. £1 for the next hour max stay. £100 without ticket". Clear & simple.
Out on manoeuvres earlier, noticed this. Now THAT's a sign on entering a car park!! https://ibb.co/YyG6PXh
Vs this piece of subterfuge from he that shall remain nameless!!* https://ibb.co/Xys4Mbq

So....The good news is, the journo printed the article. The bad news is he didn't really get in any of the points I had laboured (invoice, double recovery, poor signage etc etc). He did decide to say, off his own back, that I was urging people not to pay!! Feel like I was used as a pawn in his game for revenge against Excel's threats. Sorry guys, hope you don't get landed with the fallout, as MSE gets a mention. No such thing as bad publicity.....right?

Consequently, I do not agree to appear in interviews, or provide quotes, unless they agree to pay me my hourly rate. A couple of them have done so.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.9 -

What will really impact on the cash flow is the Pandemic and the CoP. That will hit them where it hurts.
The court cases that they lose probably don't have a great impact on their profitability. They are more to create fear in order to bully the motorist into paying up. They have to be seen to follow through.
I actually have no qualms about people making money and I believe that we need wealth creators. What I don't like is the way that this company and their ilk go about ripping people off even the most vulnerable of society.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

That's a very week and wishy-washy article.
Has the planning department been chased up about the reduced parking time? We see so often that parking scammers reduce the time specified on the original planning approval.

I think that it is fine, clear, concise, and informative.
