Excellent player but the remote control is very unresponsive.0 -
Thanks, I suspected as much. Not that it matters now, discovered our TV plays NTSC anyway. Just ordered one of these, looks a great player for the money:Yes it does.

Plus I had a £10 Juicy Brains voucher so it only cost me £17.99 all in :money:0 -
I am looking for a cheap DVD player. I don't really need any frills to it - just for playing standard DVDs. Would this Toshiba one by my best option from Amazon at £27.99 or are the v cheap ones at £17.99ish from Argos ok?
Thanks0 -
For a quality brand DVD player with great reviews that Tosh is a bargain. Just depends on whether you'd rather save £10 or have a quality product. I did alot of looking around for similar quality players and couldn't find any that good for so little money.I am looking for a cheap DVD player. I would say I'd let you know what I think of it when I get it (next day or two) but it's a Chrimbo present for my girlfriend so won't get to try it out till Christmas :rolleyes:0 -
Toshiba still priced 27.99.
Do Amazon normally have a January sale?0 -

Yeah, I'm also looking for a cheapo dvd player now. Thought the £10 player was a permanent thing, not just for 7 days, now I find out it's gone up by £7.50 at Argos (if you want a front-loading player).
Anyone spotted any in the sales etc?0
