Morning all (just about, as I am typing this...)
Went to a market / flea market thing first thing, bought eggs from a farmer, and local potatoes from a proper greengrocer, plus a few items to sell on. Household / personal spends diary and business records updated accordingly.
I have since walked the dog and sorted out the loft bedroom and ensuite after GDs' and grumpy dog's visit, all clean, trundle bed pushed under the other one, baby's cot put back up, washing in machine. Good job I didn't leave it till this afternoon though, as they had left the plug in the basin and the tap dripping, and the sink was almost full
Still need to:
Put washing out for a blow once finished, as it is nice today after all the horrible rain yesterday when I wanted to take the kids outDone, it dried enough to have made it worthwhile to put it out. Now on airer to finish off.
Did another load, to hopefully peg out tomorrow
Hoover top set of stairs Done, also ran it over worst of downstairs mess
Maybe a bit in the gardenNot done
Spent best part of an hour sorting out all the carrots I dug up the other day. Enough for dinner today, plus a carrot and coriander soup. Soup made and is in the conservatory to cool down so it can go in the fridge
Cook a roast chicken dinnerDone, included HG carrots and kale and beans from the freezer.
Light stove later as it looks like being a cold one again  Done, kettle singing away ready for tea in a minute0 -

Afternoon all,
A lovely dry sunny day here, so nice after yesterdays wet weather.
Today we have/will
* all had porridge for breakfast, nice healthy cheap and quick - perfect
* into town to go to the library, took back 4 books and came away with another 2. We seem to have got into a good weekly routine of going there now. (also means we get to have a walk on the prom which was beautiful in this weather.
* we'd parked for free in Tesc0 carpark so bought bread from there rather then going to aldee
* in to Sp0rtsdirect for trainers for ds2, needed to get some all black for school and another pair for pe as his feet have grown (his other pairs look fine so have given them a polish and added to the cs bag)
* found some saved packaging so that I can send something to another mse member without having to spend anything (hoping to use rm survey stamps to send)
* another bond film this afternoon with dh, we've made it through to The living daylights
* taken some chicken out of the freezer for meals tomorrow (and updated inventory)
* fridge dive for tea tonight, whatever is in there can go with jacket potatoes
Take care all.Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.
