Morning :hello:
Today really has to be 'get-a-grip' Sunday chez Roundtuit! There's a lot going on that I can't do anything about but that doesn't mean that I have to let the whole lot / myself go down the plughole!
I know teeny tiny steps work and that they are do-able even when you have a big BD trying to sit on your chest and the looming festive season is giving you extra plates to spin.
Back to Basics Round 1 will be
1. Laundry shuffle
2. Get washed & dressed
3. Address & stamp letter to C
Parrots first - it really doesn't help having an intermittent low grade headache and sore throat
Moan. Mutter. Mumble. Complain. GET A GRIP Roundtuit!

Morning all
Reasonable day here at the moment,
WM is swishing
Bed aired and made
Dailies done
DH and I are going to prep supper and put it in the sc, make a pack up and go out again for a few hours, We are lucky to have quite a few natty trust places quite close and as we are members it makes sense to take advantage of any nice day and get out to one of them!!
We have a couple of bits to get that were missed yesterday so will do that on the way home. Then we have some financial admin to do that we will do later.
Have a lovely day all, hugs to those in need x0 -

Just back in bed...
What?Whaaat? What is this return to bed you boast of? I've been up and at it since 5.30am with DH clattering around getting ready to go scuba diving. Why can't men do anything quietly? Then his dimwit mate turned up at 6am, unable to work out the driveway gate hook so I had to sort him out too...
Anyway, I've made more bread, a sort of flapjack effort thingy (we will see how that turns out once it's set...) let out chickens, fed goats, admired the still super-high water levels in the wells, checked the pumps are still on and working, welcomed two overnight boarders and accepted a present of Damson gin from the owners for the last minute booking, done one load each of the DW, WM and TD and played referee to the boys over the PS4.
Quick cuppa then a zoom round with the Hoover...0 -
up now...

The flapjacks were a total fail.
I just can't make them, no matter how hard I try or which recipe I use.

OH and I have walked to the park and the river level is right up, once place it has breached the river bank, so I think it will go across the flood plain sometime tonight.

Hello all. Hope you're all ok.
Today I have walked the dogs, made myself look presentable, wudupa, cleaned kitchen sink, s&sd bathrooms, emptied all bins, put recycling out and done my first remembrance service as a councillor. Very emotional it was too. Met some amazing and inspirational people.
Back home, fielding phone calls and my diary is filling up again and I'm actually getting excited about Christmas. Physio is done, DH is making dinner so I'm going to relax with the Sunday papers now.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi again
DH and I back from our outing, quite cold but was very enjoyable. Financial admin done and errands run. SC meal is smelling delicious! Can’t wait to have it...
Plan for this evening is to load washing for tomorrow, DH will probably do the ironing, I am going to sit and read, may have a soak in the bath too.
Have a good evening all, see you on the new thread xx0
