Hi little-sweetie, he is an adorable little chap for sure. Yes, the Venthouse had really pulled his the upper back of Sonny's head, bruised it badly too though it was a lot better a couple of days later. Very well done with yet more sales, good for you!

Hi 32b3! I hope all's well with you. Many thanks for your wishes. I did have 2 really cute photos of him which our DD sent, but I can't send them through for some reason or other. One he's having a bath in and scowling at the mobile, the other he's having a good old yawn in. 😍❤️

Hi 
Since Jan I have been doing 'Save the Change' with the Halifax - a sort of virtual potting.  I've saved £52.85 so far.  As we are opening our sealed pots on 29 October I was wondering if this amount could be added to the cash I have saved in my tin.  I know it's not potting real coin into a pot/tin but it's change saved virtually.  What do you think?

Of course you can, Dragon Lily, you too siju! Why not, especially in this unusual time, in fact I'd urge you to do so. You save away and look forward to Declaration Day! NB. I've put a paragraph of the changes to the rules around on Page 1, but, for some reason wasn't even able to BOLD IT to enable all members know that they can, within reason, save as they wish, after all it's nobody's fault we're unable to pot cash so easily now, so you go ahead Dragon Lily and siju.    I sincerely hope not being able to put it in bold is a reason that can be overcome! I'm currently liasing with MSE Stephen in the hope of getting different colour/s to bring the attention of things of importance to you all, it's not going make life easy for me, but I have to give html a try for all our sakes.

Meanwhile, you carry on saving Dragon Lily and Siju

I had some rather unexpected news this week, started writing a book on an App on my ipad (purely because they gave you free coins so you could unlock other peoples stories to read them), well one of their editors agreed to sign it Not as awesome as being a paperback writer but still quite cool that someone thought it was worthy of signing to their book app

Morning!  I’ve potted £1.97 which included 5p “roadkill”.  I didn’t need to wash it as it came out of the washing machine filter, whoops!  I’ve been cleaning and also found.......1/2p!  These have not been legal tender since 29th March 1984; how do I know this?  My eldest niece was born on this day.  Sadly that piece of trivia has never been required in any quiz I’ve done.  I have my cash bags at the ready and I’m off on the 29th (only because it’s my birthday 🎂).  My pot doesn’t feel as heavy as last year but I’m hoping it’s because there’s more paper money.  I was very good when I opened it to pay for the bike and didn’t count it 😁. My target was £200 but that was set last year when life was normal, I now have no idea what is going on or what I’m allowed to do so food shopping is all I’m venturing out for.  Yesterday’s school update was adults will be wearing masks in communal areas of the primary school but not in the playground, every rule brings its own confusion 🤨

Finally back on track potting after having to replace both cooker and fridge in 2 weeks!!

I've just been checking emails and have recieved a parking fine (charge). 2 things wrong with this -- I was at home at the time stated and more importantly I don't have a car! I can't even drive!

Don't know whether I'm looking forward to opening day or not because of not potting for so many weeks, but hey- every little helps as the ad says.

Very well done in keeping those travel savings up, Ant, I bet it's surprising what folk have saved on that nationwide.

An excellent amount potted with your latest £10er, jakes-mum! Ah, I see you're practicing at getting your name very well known in time, getting paid for it too! Whatever helps rake it in, well almost..! 😉 Know your boundaries. ☺️

Good for you with the potting, Hetty, though you've a strange idea about what roadkill is if it's washed and ready for the pot these days! 😳 

Crikey! I can't think when I last saw a 1/2p, strange though what memories something like that will turn up.

Wait for that surprise from your pot might, you never know it might just be good to you if you've got notes too. Whatever it is be chuffed with it as, with this year as it's been, you might easily not have got much much at all. Be proud of yourself whatever it is! 

The school's, or any other building's new ruling of facemasks being necessary in communial  parts of the school makes perfect sense, out in the fresh air what folk breathe out goes off into the air 💦 whereas indoors it hovers around or passes straight to other people near you - yuk!! 

Thank goodness you've got a very sensible headteacher or local authorities. Masks right now are a Godsend for us all.

Good heavens above Lucy! 🥺 The authorities in your are must be on cloud cuckoo land to send you such a fine when you can't even drive!!!!! Get on to them and ask what the plate number of the car was, that should soon sort it out, unless anyone else was driving it! 

I think we're all going to be in your predicament with our savings this year, it's not been an easy one, and with you having some big payouts, what more can I say! Just be proud of yourself whatever it is!
