Hi Potters! I hope you all had a good
weekend, Monday and Tuesday too. Here's hoping you're all staying as healthy as is possible and will hopefully remain doing so!
For all those Potters who are poorly or low in anyway, take very good
care of yourselves and please get well soon! Love and hugs to you all.
Hi frostie and good to see you again. It sounds as though you're
having the same problem as a lot of us being unable to pot. I just keep my IOU
list next to my pot and add whatever I would have saved had I "been in the real
world"! Please take great care of yourself, and hopefully one of these days
things will be back to some kind of normality.
Hi datlex, you're doing very well indeed with your potting, keep it
up and you could end up with an very healthy total!
It's lovely to see you too, Catherinen! Your not alone with not
being able to pot as we normally would. Very well done with the £10 from Q Park!
Do the best the current times allow us Catherine, it's all any of us can do.
Take care of yourself.
Hi there Hetty, ah all that you've said certainly makes sense as to
why your little treasure sometimes isn't the lad he should be. However, he's
very lucky to have a Mum who goes out of her way to understand and help
him.
I'm so sorry to hear about your parents, your sister too. I quite agree
with the support teacher's thinking, at least she understands and is there for
you both. As you say though, whatever youngsters think of this terrible virus is
most likely unknown, it is for a lot of adult, but for kiddies...?!!
Very well done with your cash findings, and all the very best to you
both.
Lovely to see you Frogletina. That was terrible with your bank, but
at least you've gained as a result of their tardiness!!
I guess it won't be long now until the new arrival is due, very best wishes
with that. 😊 Look after yourself Frogletina.
Another £10 added to the IOU sheet after our click and collect shopping.
Enjoy your WEEK folks!! Take great care and KEEP VERY HEALTHY!!

Managed to pot 5 pounds as I got a few bits for an elderly neighbour and he insisted on posting a fiver through the letterbox. It will be part of travel expenses saved from working from home but most of what I’m managing to save is being used to pay off the 0 pc credit card mountain. Stay safe everyone

Found 50p roadkill on my walk yesterday. Nice to have a little bit of actual cash to pot

So, it seems I was last here in 13th Feb .How the world has changed since then! I have been potting, and keeping a record: On 25th Feb I potted four £2 coins, six £1 coins, and £2.25 in smaller change. (£16.25) On 16th March I potted two £1coins, and 70p in smaller change. (£2.70) On 23rd March I potted a £2 coin, a £1 coin and 12p in change. (£3.12) Last week I potted seven £2 coins, and five £1 coins. (£19.00) Later tonight I will post five £2 coins. (£10)
It is lovely to see lots of old and new faces here.I am off to catch up on some of the thread 😱
Welcome back Saver_upper. I went AWOL for a couple of years so your 3 months is no time away really. Some good potting there, particularly as it’s hard to come by cash at the moment. I picked up another 20p roadkill and potted it (that’s 70p within a matter of days which I’m far too excited about!) From not posting on hear for years to posting 3 times in a week. Also potted another fiver that a neighbour dropped through the letterbox for some bits of shopping - It will count as part of my travel expense savings.
Have a good weekend everyone

Hi there Sealed Potters! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely VE Bank Holiday and are having a lovely weekend. I do hope you're all staying as healthy as is possible and will hopefully remain doing so!
For all those Potters who are poorly or low in anyway, take very good
care of yourselves and please get well soon! Love and hugs to you all.
Hi Ant, and very well done on finding the 50p that someone
unwittingly dropped! Bless your dear neighbour, sad how some elderly folk still
find the need to pay for favours. I'm pleased you're going to put your cash
towards paying off debts, Ant, one you've managed to achieve that you'll feel a
load has been lifted! PS. Another good find with the discarded 20p!!
Good for you in potting that £15 from your purse, Chocolatedrinker!
Far better potted amongst friends.
Aha there you are, Saver-upper! There have been so many people gone
missing for far too long and it's worrying to think it might be illness or not
being able to get back on since the MSE changes! I just hope they'll re-appear again some day soon. Still, very well done on all you've
potted, keep the great work up.
Have a great WEEKEND folks!! Take great care and KEEP VERY HEALTHY!!

So sorry to hear about your sons struggles Hetty, as a mum to a child who was challenging through out his entire childhood (often reducing me to tears), I send you many many hugs. Well done on your roadkill Antomac, not a single solitary penny to be found round here! obvs my town is way to tight to be dropping money! I tend to have an abundance of cash now as we buy Dear Uncle's shopping when we do our own and I use my card and then he pays me back with cash. So i've started to use the cash he gives me to pay for the smaller mid week milk and bread shop and when I have to go to the post office, which is giving me change for the pot! Yay!! So a bit of silver, 2 x £1 coins and 1 x £2 coin in the pots yesterday
Hi all, hope everyone's well and potting away. Big shock last week - hubby had a mild heart attack, he's ok, spent 4 days in hospital. The ambulance outside our door caused quite a stir on the street, the most exciting thing that usually happens is the Heron van delivering frozen food across the road!!!Saddest thing was he could't have any visitors but seemed to get on well with the other patients.
