Hi little_sweetie, I felt so sorry for you in having lost your post, things aren't easy since this new format, in fact they can be a right bally pest!!!!I'm still having problems, and the fact that there's no other colours is a right pest as the blue and red really used to bring folk's attention, as did larger sizes. I've been in touch with them, but.....!! I hope both you and G are relatively well, though I know things aren't easy with G.
Hello again Buffy! Lovely to see you again! You're honestly not on your own with this new format, it drives me bonkers at times!Times are certainly hard at present with Covid-19, so much sadness for thousands!
So many members aren't heard from either, and I'm sure that's down to the new format, but fingers crossed they're all in good health and will remain that way. Look after yourself Buffy and stay in good health!
Have a LOVELY EVENING and TUESDAY folks!! Take care and KEEP VERY HEALTHY, and keep happy!!Sue xNB folks: Opening date for SPC 13 is 29th October 2020!!!Anyone wishing to join us it's NEVER too late so please just ask you'll be made very welcome.

Hi Sue-UU, I think part of the problem is that I have NO patience at the moment with everything that's going on. Anyway, I have no cash to pot because all shopping now is done online and therefore paid for by card. This potting year is looking like a non-starter for me but I'll see what happens later in the year. I have an awful feeling that this situation is the beginning of the end for cash (I need to insert a horrified face here but can't!) I hope you and your family are well, Sue, and that DD is getting things under control.
I'll try to pop in now and again as I've missed sooooo much news on here. Love to all fellow potters. Stay well x

Hello Potters, I'm still here. Still working from home but my workload is considerably reduced now. The weather has helped to make lockdown more bearable but I'm sure the garden will be more than happy to have a bit of rain this week. I believe my pot has an IOU of £35 as I haven't used any cash since the middle March
Life is certainly strange at the moment! Take good care of yourselves everyone; this will end one day

Afternoon Potterssssssssss
I have no potting news at all as its been pretty much card payments all round, did decide to spend some of my own savings though and bought myself a push bike! As my body doesn't do well with walking or standing I thought a bike might help me get out the house, exercise a bit and get some fresh air. DD joins me on my bike rides too so thats nice, I just have to keep reminding her that 1) mum hasn't been on a bike for 24 years so is a bit rusty! and 2) Mum also has severe health issues so cannot cycle anywhere near as long or fast as she canbut it is nice to get her out the house, exercising and away from the dreaded xbox!
Still shopping for dear Uncle, bless him he is obviously very lonely as he keeps 'forgetting' to add things he needs to his shopping list so we have to take him things twice a week instead of onceHe thinks we don't know thats what he is doing and I am not going to burst his bubble telling him I know his game
He is staying in his flat and not going out so as far as i'm concerned he can have his little secret and we will continue to take him stuff twice a week
Miss Harley turned 1 year old last week! She is making this whole situation soooo much more bearable, especially for DH and his anxiety, she seems to know when he's having a tough time and sits with him. She has really got into being cuddled now and jumps up on my lap for a fuss while sticking her head over the side of my chair so she can reach DH to lick his handI really don't know how we coped without her!
Might have to start shaking DH upside down to find some pennies! my poor pot is feeling very neglected!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10005 -
Evening
I posted at the weekend, but it seems to have disappeared! I don't like change at the best of times and the changes to MSE have not made me change my mind on that!!
Lovely that your dog has bought so much joy, and is a source of comfort to your Husband. Jakes-mum. Dogs jus know things I thinkGood luck with the bike.
Cracked out the laptop tonight as someone has changed the email addresses on one of my shopping accounts so I have changed all password for every account I have ever used! bit of palaver, especially when it comes to remembering what I have changed them toI wonder what they have bought from my account! I can't log in so I have no idea until CS respond to my message.
I hope everyone is safe and well. Such a worrying time

Hello Potters!
I hope you're all enjoying a relatively wet week. I hope everyone's keeping as healthy as is possible and will remain doing so.
For all those Potters who are poorly or low in anyway, take very good care of yourselves and please get well soon!Love and hugs to you all.
You're most welcome LivingInTheBlack, and excellent work with your saving!!Little wonder your patience is low, little_sweetie, what with everything that's going on in this very strange world these days as well as G's problems and you both having moved, it's a wonder you have any patience at all!!Just to try to help you with a little saving in these turbulent times, how about doing as Siju & I've done, putting an IOU list by your pot and adding a little to it every time you shop?!Like you, I'm sure cash will soon be petered out, either that or they'll bin the current cash and completely mint more.DD isn't so good, but we're hoping she'll be a contender for a new drug, she's in the middle of being tested now.Take great care of yourself, G too, and don't forget to stay in touch even if it's to get things off your chest. xxHi Siju, it's so good to hear from folk and know they're still healthy, you of course are thankfully one of them. I just wish many more would or could return, if only to say they too are well.I'm pleased to hear your work load is less and that you're not snowed under. It's lovely to see the gardens getting a good drink, but let's hope the sun soon returns. It's good to see you too have turned to the IOU way of potting. Take care of yourselves.Hi jakes-mum, good to hear you've a way of getting out, I'd love to have a bike, but clearly too dangerous with seizures, ah well. I'm so pleased you've got some freedom though.Your poor uncle, but at least you're treating him the kind way and he still gets his shopping from you. I was quite shocked to read your Harley is a year already! She sounds adorable.Look after yourselves!TAKE VERY GREAT CARE OF YOURSELVES, everyone, PLEASE!!Hi 32b3, ooh how wicked that someone was in messing with your passwords.I sincerely hope not too much has been used! I thought this blessed new MSE format was bad enough but you've certainly got more to be infuriated about.
What a palaver indeed with your passwords, quite frustrating!!A very worrying time indeed so do your best to stay healthy and the very best of luck!So sorry to hear you have heart problems, Lost, for goodness sake take extra special care of yourself. No wonder you're over zealous with your cleaning, every need to be.Very well done with your potting!Look after yourself very carefully Lost. xxHave a LOVELY EVENING and THURSDAY folks!! Hi everyone. I potted £12 yesterday as that’s what was left on payday. Having a bit of a rough time with my son at the moment as I’m sure many are. I got the school involved earlier this week as his emotional outbursts aimed at me are getting worst. He’s already had one this morning because I got him jeans out to wear. School have started sending me emails about the lack of school work being submitted and I’m still supposed to be home working my main job. At least my team leader used to be a primary school teacher so has some understanding. I have asked if I can use some of my remaining holiday to shorten my days at work so let’s see what they say. School are ringing again next week but it’s hard on my own with him. He is very aware that his behaviour is wrong as he doesn’t want me to tell anyone outside of this house; so that’s anybody else! We will get through this but at the moment I’m just a bit ☹️.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)4

Oh Hetty, what an awful situation to be in. You and your son must both be feeling so frustrated with the situation. Remember it WILL come to an end at some point. Big ((HUGS)) x
Thank you, Sue-UU for your kind comments. You have enough on your own plate too at the moment. I'm praying that your DD is suitable for the new drug and that it does the trick.
I think your idea of a virtual saving is great. I don't know about everyone else on here but my shopping is costing far more than we budgeted for at the start of the year. We are lucky to have online delivery now and again so we (read me!) just order whatever is in stock (usually more expensive than regular things) with the result that shopping is costing up to 50% more (insert shocked face!) I'm trying to keep costs down but not succeeding very well. In addition, I'm having to send online flowers or chocolates to family & friends for gifts instead of searching out bargains in the shops. There are lots of birthdays, anniversaries etc right now. I need to get into a new frame of mind for saving methinks.....
Love to all fellow potters. Stay well x
