Hi all SPCers! I hope you have a really wonderful weekend whatever weather you all have. I sincerely hope none of our SPC members are amongst the flood victims!😯 Wherever you are, if you're able to read the thread, I sincerely hope this all soon comes to an end so you can start to map out your future. Please rest assurred that our hearts go out to you. <3
For all those Potters who are poorly or low in any way, take good care of yourselves and please get well soon! Love and hugs to you all.

You've got the right idea, Frostie, just keep on dropping the cash in, that's the way it'll grow.  :D

A very happy St David's day, siju, sadly I'm afraid it's not going to bring any better weather with it. The Jetstream is either below the country are skirting along the south, which means... nothing but rain!! Let's hope it'll gradually drift back above us and give us some better weather by the 21st, what always used to be called the first day of spring! Good potting! :D

All the best with the football do, Hetty, I'm glad those days are long behind me. Still, I hope it goes well and you muster up food from somewhere! Very well done with the money you've potted!! :D

Well potted, Westie, that's a good sum! :D

Very well done, Lost! It's good to see you. :D

A lovely £15 in the pot after hubby did the necessary shopping! :D

Have a relaxing weekend, folks, keep dry and potting!!

Finally, I've found some roadkill.  5p outside the fish and chip shop and a lonely 10p in the corner shop.  Now safe and sound in my roadkill pot  :)

Found 50p roadkill! I've also potted some loose change from my purse, and topped up my Virtual pot by rounding up.

Good Heavens above! Not exactly a busy week by anyone's standards then! 😲
Hi all SPCers! I hope you 've had a great week and will have a really lovely weekend.
For all those Potters who are poorly or low in anyway, take good care of yourselves and please get well soon! Love and hugs to you all.

Hello claremylove, it's good to see you. Excellent spotting to find that 5p... and then another 1p to also add to your pot. Very well done!   :D

Then there's you, delta13, and...50p!! Great work with your virtual pot too! :D

For me: another £15 was added to the pot on Monday!! All the shelves were stacked well then and DH had no problems. The next day a neighbour had big problems with Morri!ons as so many shelves were empty. Then our DD had a heck of a job in Te!co getting all she needed due to the same problems. Panic-buying I know, and to be expected I guess. I also imagine a lot of folk didn't want to go back anymore and I don't blame them for that at all.

Whatever you do, dear SPCers, take very, very good care of yourselves, and take NO RISKS PLEASE!!! :)

Have a relaxing weekend, folks! However, take no risks with potting!!

    Evening Pottersssssssss
Well its been a bloomin spendy few weeks :( DH drove over something in his car and knackered his tyre so that was a nice £100 paid out, and then 2 days later my laptop died :open_mouth: so another £600 gone as due to what I use it for I need a lot of power and hard drive space :( I'd sell some body parts but im pretty sure they are so knackered i'd have to pay someone to take them away
Went to the supermarkets (yes plural!) and there was not a bottle of hand wash to be found! Thankfully I always have a few in my cupboard as i can only use a certain one but it was madness, other items that were completely missing were Pasta? baked beans and the all important loo roll which people seem to be buying by the truck load.  DH is now very pleased about my stock piling (which used to annoy him greatly) as we have enough loo roll to see us through the next 3 weeks ish by which time hopefully the shops will have restocked! :open_mouth:
A few £2 coins in the tin over the last week or so and a fair bit of silver as well.   Back to finding stuff to FLeabay to try and pay for this new laptop (it is very swanky though, the keys light up red when you type!)

     Hello everyone!

Well finally the fence is now back up, although I actually quite miss the visualisation that my garden was bigger! I also think my neighbour is quite sad as well as it didn’t look as bad as you would imagine not having a fence between us. Anyway it’s all back up and fixed so in a few weeks/months need to paint the fence to protect it.

Another huge spend as the washing machine decided to pack up. Not only did it pack up it decided to flood  and leak everywhere. I have been for the past couple of years putting money aside for appliances and I am really glad that I had done this as I could easily afford a new washing machine as the budget was there from the saved pot.

My savings PIG pot was full, so I have actually emptied most of it out into another pot so there is room to keep filling it up again. I am still working on putting away any £2 coins and then emptying my purse with all change apart from £1 coins. I have no idea at this point how much money has been put away so it will be exciting to add up later in this year.

I hope everyone is having a good week so far.
