Afternoon Potters
This blumin weather is relentless!  I'm sending lots of hugs to those that have been hit by the floods  We battened down the hatches over the weekend and even the dog refused to go for a walk....... Can't wait for the spring.
I'm potting £4.54 today, so that's some good news.  Enjoy the rest of the week Potters and try to keep warm and dry.

I hope everyone is well.  I have been potting,  but I do not seem to be able to log in on my iPad,  and I do not always switch laptop on,  so have not been posting.

Evening Potters,
Ooo its cold! yet DD is STILL walking round in shorts! mad mad child!  Potting is still ongoing in the house, have shook DH upside down a couple of times to drop out those coins I hear jingling when he walks past, no no no DH, you do NOT get to keep your change, you know this!

I just started typing a post and its gone!! It may appear randomly somewhere at some point so apologies if it does.  I was saying I'm having trouble with my iPad; it keeps telling me the site has crashed but apparently it doesn't like my work PC either.  I was reporting a £10 note potted this morning and was also going to say Jakes-Mum how lovely Harley is; Hetty doesn't look nearly as attractive when she's on the sofa   A greyhound laid on its back with legs akimbo is not a pleasant sight!

A very good afternoon Sealed Potters! I hope you have a really wonderful weekend whatever weather you all have. It's certainly a very cold and windy one as has been the case for the last week or so!😯 I dearly hope no SPCers are caught up in all the floods, my heart goes out to you all if so as the devastation must be shocking!!   Our hearts and prayers go out to you all.

For all those Potters who are poorly or low in any way, take good care of yourselves and please get well soon! Love and hugs to you all.

It sounds as though your dog is the same as ours, siju, she looks outside of the door, sees the rain, and bolts back indoors onto her bed. Little Hopefully spring's not too far away, it's lovely to see the first of the spring flowers in full bloom. We've even got a lovely show of primroses, and the Hellebores are blooming beautifully, have been for a good while now. Even our Crab Apple have tiny leaves and the Amelanchier has buds!! 

Oh dear 32b3, sadly you're not alone in having problems with this crazy new format. 😩🙈 Why ever didn't they give themselves chance to roll it out properly! Sadly, it'll be a while yet until it's all as it should be. 

I'll be in touch my friend, but keep saving for now! 

Good heavens above, jakes-mum, your DD must be absolutely nuts wearing shorts in this weather!! I thought shorts were only worn by postmen and our middle Grandson - loonies!!

Your poor hubby must be scared of walking in your house, still, if he's got change on him....!!

Blame the missing post on MSE, Hetty, bound to be their fault. 32b3 is also having problems with her iPad and MSE so beware as you two will clearly not be alone!

Brilliant work with the £10 potted!! Your canine Hetty sounds a lot like our Jessie, sprawls anywhere and everywhere on her back, legs everywhere but where they should be. Barmy muts!

Just popping in to say hello.  Payday on Friday so I will be emptying the purse into the pot then.  We have sunshine today, yipee!!

Hi Everyone, Hope your week is going well.
Still following my potting routine of emptying out my purse (apart from pound coins) and this is still working well, I have now decided on top of this to save any £2 coins that I get, only got a few at the moment , as they don’t seem to be given out much as change.

Any ideas from anyone in what to do once my PIG pot is full of change, it’s quite a big pot (small goldfish bowl size), I wanted to empty it out and start again filling it, but did not know what to do with all the loose change between now and counting day.. any thoughts?

Still awaiting on a new fence, as the suppliers are totally out of stock, so open plan garden at the moment!

Hope the weather is getting better for everyone, and you are not affected by the snow.

Good afternoon everyone 
My first time posting in the new forums, so please bear with me!  Great to see that you're back with us Sue-UU - I hope you're feeling better/on the mend.  I was away last week and now this week I've been off work with a virus (just a normal virus, nothing from erm overseas...). 

Anyway, I've had a chance to do some potting, including £29.22 from TopCashback AND some money from takeaway coffee that I haven't had...  Although, to be honest, I am feeling a little claustrophobic because of the lack of leaving the house.

I'll be back again soon.

Hiya Hetty, thank goodness someone finally started the thread rolling again! Right then, we'll look forward to seeing you with loads of cash (perhaps) on Friday.

Very wise thinking with the £2 coins, BlytheDoll, aside from that you'll have more savings!

To answer your question: Whenever we fill their pots half way (or similar) through the year, we then count it all up and take it to the bank. Then whatever the amount is, we put it on our signatures to remind us to include the amount when we Declare all our pottings on the 29th October. Far better to do that than leave money hanging around the house.

I'm not surprised to hear that you're having to wait for your fence to be done, there had to have been a great deal of fences that went down throughout that terrible wind!

Hiya Vicky! I've been back for quite a while, my first post was straight after yours! Anyway, I'm not too bad now thank you. I'm pleased you're better after having a virus, some of those can be a real pain to get rid of. Well done with the un-spent coffee cash, very wise. Nice work with the TopCashBack too! I'm feeling a little claustrophobic too, as throughout this bitter weather I've been advised not to go out unless it's vital. Roll on spring!! ("jumping up and down smiley") Look after yourself Vicky and pot well.
