Kathryn , Beanie, Curly, Sue, Mrs R, Sary, PIB, TMD and anyone else MIA hope you are all ok?

Hi, I am intermittently about. Struggling somewhat to be on plan, so being good when I can, and not sure it's quite 'careful' when I can't, but my focus will be better once we hit January. Between work and home stress, it's just another thing to worry about at the mo.

Sorry I haven't been around, but I don't always find time to read and catch up on you all here either. To put it in perspective, we bought a Christmas tree. It's in the house. It remains undecorated :( Lack of time, lack of energy, lack of incentive is not a good mix. I've got some time off over the Xmas break, so really hoping to get my life 're-grouped', and have a new focus.

Hope you're all doing okay. Hugs for anyone who isn't :grouphug:
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

I would be going back. That's not on:mad::(
No point, won't give me anything :(
Today i had a text about going for blood test, i knew nothing about this so rang them, he said it was one from equipment failure, i have had this done twice, twice equipment failure!
The doc was really annoyed at this and this is why he put me through as urgent for hospital! He said i did not need to go again
Lunch was a WW fromage frais mixed with more plain fromage frais and raspberries. Spent all morning cooking, all cooling down now 👍.

Well done maman for getting to target and maintaining 💪. I hope to join the target club in 2020 ;). Key for me will to be keep going to group, they are a supportive bunch and we have a laugh too. Never dreamt it would work out like this, I just meant to pick up the SW books last January and go it alone. But joining my group and a few online forums have actually changed my life! :j:j:j

Off to post my Kantar letter. No dogwalk, he has an upset stomach and is sleeping lots, hopefully a bit more energy tomorrow. Unfortunately labs will eat anything when off lead *rolls eyes*.

    Take care everyone :xmassmile

Good to see you posting sary . You sound stressed.:( Keep plodding. :)

Is that equipment failure with text service or the blood testing bubbs ? Wouldn't they give you something stronger than Paracetamol if you asked? I can't see why you have to wait for a diagnosis for pain relief. :(

For the blood testing, 2 weeks on the trot for this particular one, the others were all done.
That's what he said, it's getting an appointment that's the problem:mad:

That's infuriating. I'm lucky that my surgery keeps some appointments back for each day and release them at 11 o'clock. No use if you can't get there though . I suppose it varies depending on where you live. :(

Foolishly I was watching Mary Berry and fancied some cake. What's ridiculous is that I can't taste anything much because of my cold. How daft is that. :o

Today's challenge is a Christmas Ceilidh that I'm going to this evening. There will be a break with nibbles. My plan is to eat before I go and just have a drink (alcohol free) and chat with people. At the most I'll have something SW friendly if possible.:)

I'm busy today so although I've got chicken defrosting, it's far more likely that I'll do a freezer meal to save time when I get back.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, skinny syrup, half banana (F), HEB porage with HEA milk
L: cold meat and LO veg (P,F,S) unless I have something when I'm out like a JP
D: SW Bolognese (P,S) with tagliatelle (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: tbc
  • Very happy to report a 3lbs loss this week, so got my 6st award and also SOTW. Was our xmas party and tasters, so lots of yummy food and silly games and lots of raffle prizes.

Have vegetable soup in the fridge. And my lovely Scottish lady across the road presented me with a whole half side of Scottish smoked salmon this morning for being a good neighbour. She is in her 80s and I put her wheelie bins out for her and keep an eye out, remind her to close her garage door etc. Very nice surprise and SW friendly too, might freeze some of it.

Will celebrate with some chocolate today, then back to plan until Christmas Day I think. Am helping with our Village Christmas Lunch Thursday which will be fine, just hectic. Also helping out in our Village Shop that morning, so will be cream crackered by the end of Thursday. But have enough food in for the rest of the week so should be ok. DD home from uni, 2 extra friends staying for 1 night tonight, then they are all off on a roadtrip before coming back again, not sure when 🙄. DS coming home from uni at w/e probably.

Hope everyone is coping the best they can :).
