TIE , you will soon get it off, these things happen, i need 3 1/2lb to get back IN target :(

You'll soon lose that bubbs and get back in target.

Looks like loads of chopping needed TMD and then 3 days to ferment, wow you really need to plan ahead for that!

That's the only thing with everything all the chopping, believe it or not i have a kenwood i have never used for this 🙈🙈
I am going to try this, i cooked 3 bunches of beet last night in the IP, I am going to use sugar free jelly, just going to do one jar incase it dont work:rotfl::rotfl:
    Beetroot in Jelly

2lbs beetroot, ½ pint white vinegar, 6 cloves, 6 peppercorns, 1 bay leaf, half pk raspberry jelly.

    Method

Wash beetroot, trim stalks to 1 inch long. Do not cut skin or roots.

    Cook until tender

Cool slightly, rub off skin and trim ends.

Dice into small pieces and pack tightly into jars.

Place vinegar & spices in saucepan and cover. Boil, then simmer for 10 mins. Strain & discard spices.

Pour onto jelly and dissolve completely. Cool but do not let it set.

Pour over beetroot, completely covering. Allow to set.

Cover with waxed disc and put lid on jar

I hope so Denise, i didn't want to lose my Diamond membership though :(

You don't lose your Diamond membership for going out of target. The only thing with going out is having to pay again!!! That's enough incentive to get back into range asap!

The beetroot in jelly sounds "interesting", LOL! What flavour jelly are you going to use? Is this recipe one that came with the IP?

Commiserations on your gain tie. You need a week off!:D

Have a great time at the family do denise. It's only one meal. Enjoy.:) I don't mind having syns when I'm out provided I really enjoy them.

That's interesting about your 'love affair' with all things Korean TMD;). You'll be able to make a massive difference before next summer, well done for starting now.:T

There's another slimming programme advertised for TV next week. It looks quite sensible from the trailer. The plan is to lose a stone by Christmas. Interesting.:think:

You have to be careful with pickle. It'll depend whether it's in oil or vinegar and whether it's sugar or sweetener added. Obviously you have enough syns for belly pork but would the recipe work with a leaner cut?

I'm going to make sweet and sour chicken tonight as it's one of DHs favourites. I haven't worked out the syns yet but I know it has tinned pineapple juice and some cornflour in it. I had wine syns last night but not too many so I can afford a few syns.:):)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit (F), HEB Weetabix with HEA milk
L: lentil and veg soup (S,P)
D: sweet and sour chicken (P,S)) with rice and SW chips (F)
    Syns: s'sour sauce 4? weekend wine:D

It would kind of work but wouldn't taste as nice

Veg soup for lunch all free, with 2 slices of bread as heb and can of sardines in oil(3 syns) as that's what I have in the house so being MSE but will buy the other kinds from now on. Won't be using any spread on the bread, but will add a tomato. Will add a photo when it's ready :)
