I have 42 in my freezer due to Himself's addiction and the fact that he cannot resist buying them when they are reduced in Aldi.

42 :rotfl: I always take loads down to my parents when I visit as you can't get them where they stay so they probably have a similar amount in their freezer :rotfl:

Bit of a spendy day. Hairdresser's appointment - should have really been done two weeks ago but life intervened.

That is all my C shopping done and wrapped apart for some (well, quite a lot) of sweets and chocolate for Himself. I'll do them gradually when I can get him out of the way for a minute. Also bought a few things that we need for taking away with us. Boy's ironing done and I'll finish ours tomorrow. There's not a lot anyway. Took some things to the charity shop. Soup to use up all the veg we have is in the slow cooker.

    Plodding along.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Ok dont really have time to read but am still grateful for ninja's. NSD yesterday. Low spend today - 2 milk to get them for 2.20, and a last date chicken BOOM.

I am grateful - well now I want to say all the things I am not grateful for but I will restrain myself:
I am thankful for a work day that finishes at 3.40 as a supply teacher.
    - for coffee w hot choc
    - dont know - my duve!
Will tally up everything on Saturday and then maybe even complete the declutter challenge.
Must eat more vege - had white bread yesterday for lunch and felt sick when I went running. But then that was 5M after walking 13000 steps on trip w students. Yesterday was a long day.

    Hi everyone
Sorry to have MIA the last few days, but I haven't been out, done very little and felt quite sorry for myself - probably through lack of sleep and worrying about things I cant change!
Anyway, at least I haven't spent anything, but I will have to go out tomorrow as Im running out/low on a few things, mainly coffee!!!!
Finished making the family Xmas cards now, written out and ready to go when its a bit nearer Xmas. People seem to be putting their decs up around here and the houses across the way from me and looking cheery, Ive not even thought that far ahead yet!
    Grateful for;
    1. Having plenty of food in.
    2. Phones.
    3. Daughters.

    Off to catch up

Right so one of my habits this month is to be spending less time on the computer - and here I am - me having to do a large presentation at work, with a range of documents and I only have this evening to do it and 2 hours tomorrow afternoon to check it and I got home at 4, spent 1.5 hours on the computer on this forum and social media. spent 2,5 hours cooking and eating and here I am - still haven't started. I'm so stressed and I think I will just work on paper for a bit.
Sorry for rant, but it's one of those things I have to do every year, I'm not good at it and I'm not getting better or cooler about it. So it just feels worse and worse. But can't wait till Thursday will go for a run or swim when done. Looking forwards to that.

Really tired and dizzy today. Did mum's shopping with the walker and needed frequent sit downs. meant to come back home to collect some stuff but went straight to the taxi place and to mum's.

Have discussed 'C' and both think it's best if I sleep at mum's for the whole period from 'C' Eve into the New Year but have a day at home a couple of times. Going to buy a turkey crown next week, cook it and slice and freeze. Mum has also suggested having a leg of lamb but doing the 'French way' with garlic and rosemary inserted into cuts in the meat. My brother did it for her once or twice and it was delicious. This is of course mum's use of the word 'we'. I know she's never cooked a leg of lamb or a roast potato in her life.

I now have a time for next week's hearing appointment (brought forward from Friday) so might just be able to fit a home delivery in. One of her fellow churchgoers phoned her and thankfully we are scaling back on cakemaking - great relief as she was going to send me out hunting for 'dream topping' to make little trifles. The woman who phoned will not be running this years refreshment stall - they changed the date without telling her and she has booked a little trip to a Christmas market. Several other regulars cannot help this year and she doesn't even know if there will be a MU cake stall.

I have moved the 3 largest pieces of furniture in the front room but I have reinforcements coming. Mr and Mrs Builder are coming round on Thursday after we get back from the funeral to do the moving stuff from room to room, felt the shed roof and put up mum's 'new' post box. It should be my day off but I have said I will go back with (I think it may take all 3 of us and it's much better than doing it all myself - plus someone else to chip in with suggestions when the furniture does not fit the way it does in mum's head).

Done mine and mum's bins and no plans to go further than the bathroom - I went out at 2 am to put a bag of clothing in the Sally Anne bin on the SM carpark.

Today I am grateful for getting thngs done, for good simple food (mum asked for baked potatoes again) and for being safe in my own little nest.

Hugs ditty, I hate public speaking with a passion and never found it getting any easier. I'm okay in a small group but once the numbers rise I go to pieces. They made us do it at school but never gave us any advice on 'how to'. I was bullied anyway and it just gave them every opportunity to make the whole experience as nerve wracking as possible. The first time I did it the ferocious English teacher asked if I had trouble with my adenoids. At least half the class did not understand this so I not only had to put up with nasty teacher I had to explain to others what she had said and what it meant (they recognised that it was a criticism).
