I've had a busy weekend, so will be providing an update for the past few days...
Budget is okay, every monthly direct debit is now paid for, so what I have left needs to last me this week - should be more than manageable.
NSD 12/15 with hopefully the other 3 chalked up during the working week, as I have packed lunches ready to go.
I've removed another 8 items this weekend including old perfume bottles, old sleeping bag and a moth-eaten jumper. I'm going to need to trawl through my previous posts but I'm pretty I'm close to 60.
Lunch to work has been going well - I've decided to allow myself one day off a week as a treat, and it's helped with motivation.
Days out I've had my 2 now, one freebie and one paid for.
Use up toiletries I bought some cotton wool pads cos I only had enough for one day of taking eye make up off, and I didn't fancy using an extra spend day just for them!
New Habit No fizzy drinks - I've found I have fizzy drinks when I'm feeling stressed or anxious - so will need to find an alternative coping mechanism. Done well though as I've gone 15 days without this month.
Grateful for my past self for saving some money towards Christmas; my housemate for talking sense to me when I was contemplating going to work when sick this morning; hash browns and brown sauce; Stranger Things soundtrack; my parents' generosity; hot water bottles.Save £12k in 2022 = £3705.97/ £7,500 (49%)

I've been struck down by the lurgy. Luckily I am working from home all week so can keep my germs to myself.
Budget - holding on in there until Thursday when DH is paid. I just might come under my food budget for the 2nd time ever!
Pay to Debts/Savings first last 3 DDs still to go out right at the end of the month. Savings in tact, £100 put aside for speeding ticket, added monthly amount to savings pots for insurance etc.
15 NSDS 1/15
Avoid Coffee Shops - bonfire night and coffee with friend were my 2 outings. Almost had a third but cancelled due to the torrential rain all weekend.
Lunch to Work - Aiming for 20 days for DH 11/20 It must be more than this but I've lost count
Remove 60 Items - 10/60 extension lead that kept blowing the sockets, some old work paperwork
Use up Toiletries and Condiments finished 2 shampoos this weekend.
Daily Fresh Air Walked the dog
Donate £5 - poppy appeal and shoe box donations done. CIN donation. Food bank donation dropped off.
Daily Gratitude - 1) The boiler not conking out after having to relight the pilot light several times this weekend 2) Visits from friends bringing treats for the dog 3) kisses offered by babies
Help others, Love People :heart2:
New Habits - I had a bit of an epiphany with my diet at he weekend, I am run down, have tummy problems and felt unwell due to a cold. DH has also asked if we can go vegan 4 days a week to help his asthma. I also have some changes I want to make and we are starting 2nd December.
1) Eat 3 proper meals each day 16/30
2) Drink 2 glasses of plain water each day 15/30
3) Eat a minimum of 3 F&V each day 6/30
4) Complete 2 items off my to do list each day 11/30 -Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

DH built our composter yesterday out of palletts, it looks pretty good, we have started it off with some veg scraps, leaves and cardboard in layers.
A couple of weeks ago DS got new trainers, apart from his school shoes they were his only shoes but as it never stops raining this situation was not proving ideal. Both kids are off school for an inset day today so we popped into town and found a pair of boots that were exactly what he wanted, they are the same style as the classic Timberland boots, they were in the charity shop of course and cost us £4.99.
I have done a few online orders for things I can't buy in a physical store, I bought DD some gifts from a small company in Scotland, they make skincare products in zero waste packaging, also ordered her a hair brush. I have bought some DENT tabs, these are little tablets that you chew up then brush your teeth with them.
Tomorrow is the start of a new budgeting month for us, the tooth tabs and some coffee beans (I buy in bulk locally) were budgeted for.
A reminder for Friday - it is also #BuyNothingDay.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

New Habits -DH has also asked if we can go vegan 4 days a week to help his asthma. I also have some changes I want to make and we are starting 2nd December.
Looking forward to buy nothing Friday - thanks for the heads up.
Today is buy nothing Monday, so 15/15
Normal Monday routine nonsense, - school run /volunteering/school run/ supper /volunteering / Victoria Coren Mitchell/ Jungle.
Interspersed with cups of tea and hot drinks.
I do not like coughing, so I have decided to stop. There. Fighting it off well before it takes hold. I simply cannot be bothered with it.
17 days to go until the election - I found my next door neighbours polling cards strewn across the street last week. I don't think the postie put them all the way through, and some toe-rag pulled them out and threw them into the road. Tbey were soaked, but I stuck them back through the door. How dare somebody decide to nick someone else's polling card???? I was so angry about it.

Hiya turtles.
Weekend not up to much and had to postpone the date due to worse chest cold ever. Not re arranged yet.!
Saturday took grandkids to cheap and cheerful cafe for lunch and a quick wet walk see ducks/ swans.
Sunday, felt awful but pushed myself into cleaning, decluttering, tip run and diy shop. Made up got rid of huge quilt which took up so much room and some chairs.
Didn't want food so unlike me, mushrooms on toast saved the day. Couldn't face a date feeling that rough. Another spendy day as needed light bulbs.
Today pushing myself as otherwise I will just collapse in a heap when I get home, off to see a school play tonight. Hopefully be as good as last 2 years, no kids connection to the school, just where I went as a kid. Plus cheap on first night £3.
Gutted I forgot my fitbit today.
Grateful for
Warmer weather
Glasses been adjusted today, may stay on now.

A productive day. Changed bedding, did three loads of washing (drying upstairs), defrosted and tidied both freezers and cleaned a kitchen cupboard (disposed of some unwanted and useless cooking trays and dishes). Still need to tidy out fridge but I think I'll do that whilst dinner is in the oven.
Speaking of voting, I hope my postal vote arrives before I go away on Saturday.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -

Has your sister moved because of the stroke? Is she nearer you now? How's your nephew doing?
She's moved to a nice place about the same distance from me. Further from her work (which was a 10 min walk) but closer to childminder. She's still unable to drive but a bus goes from the end of the street to right by her work and she gets free travel because of the stroke/ inability to drive, so it's ok.
