Emergency fund is 11 pounds. Sun is shining so need to empty the washing baskets whilst I can. And it's day one of the joint account. Relevant pots filled and spends transfer to our own accounts. It looks like it's gonna be a long week. It seems so small an amount compared to what is in the main account. 120 food and 20 petrol till next Friday. I'm sure it can be done, it's what I budgeted before just looks different on the banking page. Ha haJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

Yesterday was a no spend day.ish. I'm not including the final payment I transferred for the house works lol.
Hopefully today will be too,if not it's the loose change from my purse only.
Meter readings taken, 31 pounds spent this week. On sunny weeks I'm gonna aim for sub thirty. I'm sure it can be done. Kids back at school next week so perhaps I can go sub 30 then.
All commited house works have been paid for. We still have plenty on our wants list e.g better fitting doors and actually putting doors on rooms we didn't already have any. These are winter ready things that hopefully we can save for alongside reducing the debts/just breaking evenJan 18 Joint debts 35,213

On a social level so far this week has been v busy but good. Financially -oh dear. This is the point of an emergency fund people. Cars, bills, random costs, new things. My 11 pound ef hasn't cut it so I will assess the damage and carry on next payday. When u stretch yourselves to do big stuff u run the risk of some hiccups financially.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
