Since last visit i've made dinner and had a sleeplaughing-smiley-014.gif thats it but i am hoping to crack on once DD is away to youth club and the 2 boys are in bed.

Ok sounds like they will be in bed quicker than they think.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

:D LJD1 sounds like it is coming along nicely, fingers crossed you get it done, or most of it done, today, that would be great wouldn't it.

Tiamai have you got a cupboard you can lock him in? With wipe clean walls of course. Failing that, yep, my son was toilet trained for 2s before 1s. 2 pairs of pants over nappy tends to stop them removing them for a smearing contest.

We have a tree (and the darn thing has dropped mess on the floor already, grr!) I ended up decorating it with the kids while DP was fixing things, nothing new there. Managed to get decorations for it from £1 shop, literally jumped out of the car, ran into the shop and grabbed whatever was red or gold, paid and dashed back out while DP waiting in the car as he couldn't cope with waiting for parking places.

Cost me £12 for them all (lights bought there for it too) which don't look too bad, apart from the muddle they are in, will tweek later. Our first real tree (aka £1 tree :D) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v241/lil_me/DSC00323-1.jpg Tree itself was £20. It's over 6ft tall, was fun getting it in the car :rotfl: Excuse laundry on radiator behind it :o oh and the fuzzy naff camera phone photo.

Lets see what I have left to do from my list....

Ring DPs step mam about sending present for her nephew  no answer will try again tomorrow
    Tidy kitchen (needs doing again)
Shopping list for anything I will need, double check it
Remove spare coat hangers from mine and DS1s bedroom, loads in the wardrobes we don't need
Basket of clean laundry to put away
One day I might be more organised...........

That looks great lil_me and I would never have noticed the washing on the radiator. Kids love decorating our tree but will be another couple of weeks before I get it out of the loft.

When we moved here I put up the tree I had had at the previous house which was no more than 3'6" tall and looked ok in my small house. I put it on a side table and it looked like a stick in the bay window we have in the lounge :rotfl:. I rang DH in floods of tears and he said go and get another one. So I took my friend from next door with me into town as I was 8 months pregnant with A at the time. We went to John Lewis and I chose a lovely 6'6" tree which they delivered a couple of days later. Rang DH to tell him I had got one and of course he said 'ohw much' to which I said 'oh erm £60 but it's a really nice one' 'good' he said. Then about 3 years later I told him that it had cost closer to £90!!! I do like real trees but we haven't had them because of getting needles everywhere. When we get ours up I'll post a pic. Would be great to see everyone elses as they put them up.

Thanks AnW'sMum :D Supposedly I've put it in the worse place for it dropping things on the floor being near the radiator but haven't got much choice, it's so big it's the only place it will go. The little 3 ft fibre optic one is in the conservatory, have let DS2 decorate that to his hearts content. DP is on a promise to keep it tidy anyway, well so far he hasn't and won't tomorrow as he's away but little DS2 said he'd help and clambered under it before bed (nearly knocking it over) picking the little green things up bless him. Hmmm hope it doesn't dry out too much, don't want to buy another before Xmas. Felt very festive putting it up, DP who is usually the official bah humbug of the house put Christmas songs on (DS1 of course trying to switch it off) Dog did go sniffing round it and was told 'no' before he even considered peeing on it. I keep walking into it :o 6 times I have had to put a bauble or something back on. We've never had a tree up this early, I think the earliest ever has been the 15th of December for us.

Thanks D&DD just been looking at it, while sat on my lazy bum waiting for the fairies to tidy my tip of a kitchen :o:confused: well we can but dream. Considering how little it cost me I don't think it looks bad at all :D

 I gave up ironing in a hope to single handedly save the enviroment, I haven't even used the iron I don't think since we moved at the end of October so it's going well. I must have saved a whole polar bear  especially as I used to be the slowest ironing person ever, before you say it, nope, we don't look like a bag of rags (thankfully the only shirts DP wears are casual ones) most of our clothes especially winter stuff as long as it's hung and dried well, then either hung or folded properly, just doesn't need doing :D I hate ironing and would rather stick pens in my eyes. You do have my sympathy with the laundry, getting it dry at the minute is a nightmare. I've only done 3 today but that is because I am out of drying space.

After an embarrassing couple of weeks I was determined to do something today and dont seem to have stopped, so why didnt I get any cleaning done - sobs once again.

This is what I have done and I even made time notes as well

    From when I last posted
by 11.15 Washing all collected up, sorted and 1st lot on, showered and dressed
11.15 - 12.15 Doogie walked via sorting office to collect parcel and make complaint, back via quikemart for paper and lotto ticket.
12.15 - 1.00 Cuppa and chocolate munchies then sorted washing from TD (been there several days) reloaded WM and TD
1.00 - 2.30 Big S/S of kitchen, emptied DW and reloaded, sorted and folded washing, reloaded WM and TD again
2.30 - 3.15 Another cuppa and cake this time while meal planning for next week
    3.15 - 4.15 Balancing bank accounts/spends
4.15 - 4.30 Sorting present for DD to take to birthday party
4.30 - 5.45 Take DD to party and then quick shop in Mr T's for bits for tea tonight (an experiment)
5.45 - 6.15 Prepare tea ready to cook and finish banking stuff
6.15 - 6.30 Checking old lotto tickets online - no luck and quick read of thread
6.30 - 7.15 Collect DD (party running late)
    7.15 - 7.30 Dinner on
7.30 - 8.00 Sorting washing reloading TD/WM and finish cooking
8.00 - 9.00 Eat dinner - yummie for an experiment Lamb risotto with a kinda moroccan twist
9pm onwards - thats now and having drowned with Mr Pino Grigio prob not in a fit state to do anything.

So when am I supposed to fit in cleaning this bogger of a place
got to pick up laddo tomorrow then see Nanny and hour or more's drive away, then it'll be tea and bathing sorting uniforms, lunches etc and still no cleaning :wall:

    Need more chocolate
    :EasterBun

    PS tree looks lovely

It's not like you've been sitting round watching television kazmeister! Sounds like you've worked really hard, especially in the kitchen. Don't put yourself down, you're doing fine :)

those are just the tips of the giant icebergs, think Titanic sinking icebergs. You're not on your own, it gets on top of us all sometimes. I wouldn't even dream of showing the pictures of my room as I dragged loads of stuff out on Friday planning to sort it out then haven't got round to it. I have a small excuse that I can't use my right arm for much as can't move the shoulder, DP been too busy to help with him being away from 4am tomorrow.

Those pictures are for Kaz's eyes only so she knows she's not on her own, I am doing a bad job of leading by example this weekend so everyone else no peeking at the hell hole I haven't had the time/energy to sort out :o  We're all only human. If you do look then please don't give up just because I have this weekend :rotfl: I promise to try better tomorrow.
