Nope it's that 'A boy they call Chucky' the little guy diagnosed with ADHD and the Mam who shouts a lot. I remember mentioning I'd only seen clips of it. Oh well at least he was thoughtful. I must have missed the homeless one.

:rotfl: suppose that crosses most of it off.

Bother, just got talked into designing posters and flyers tomorrow. Saying that we need to promote the raffle for the charity event, couldn't get prizes at first so couldn't sell tickets, now we have about £1000 worth of prizes and sold hardly any tickets.

I've not had alcohol for 8 days. That makes me sound like a real wino but there you go. See, there are some benefits to getting sick. I'm not being good I've just gone right off it. Mind you, now i'm thinking about it...nice cold glass of wine xx

I haven't drank for months, not since we went on holiday when I had a couple. Brandy in the icecream tastes yummy however...

Will watch that documentary later, had missed Corrie, my god Jim's back!

Rach, thanks for letting me know, without seeming awful to the others but unlike the others who have frequently not been online Nicki is very regular and doesn't usually miss a few days never mind a week, so I was getting worried.

Lol before that it was 22 months so 8 months isn't long either :rotfl: old before my time I think. Well more to the point not had the opportunity, lack of childcare means not a hope. I was going to have a glass of wine last Christmas until DP decided he was having a drink. Maybe this year....

    Hi everyone

I've been reading posts but not posting myself for about 10 days as I've been too embarrassed as not done anything. As usual had a terrible week last week, not only busy with things to do/places to go in the evening but mother of all bad heads went on for about 5 days. All stress induced, what with work, worry about hospital stuff and problems with DD (so I can really relate to you pigpen, and she's not even reached her teens yet!) have now been referred to a family therapy/counselling unit (anyone any experience). This week have felt a bit better and was going to do some flying yesterday and today as off work due to the other hospital procedure. Didnt happen tho as I just seem to have slept for the best part of both days. I also dont know how anyone who works full time and has children keeps on top of it - I cant :cry::cry: :embarasse :embarasse . Any tips greatly appreciated.

I see we have some new peeps trying flying so a warm welcome and good luck. To all you successful flyers :T :T and to all those suffering big hugs :grouphug: .

Have started xmas shopping - just - have ordered the "gentlemans ball scratcher" from play.com for the big boss's secret santa pressie, I just hope he's got a sense of humour  , but thats it, so still lots to even plan yet. I finish work on 12th, until 2 January tho so will have a few days to do stuff on my own before kids break up.

Plan for tomorrow is food shopping, washing and some cleaning (unless OH has any other plans- he took me out for a lovely lunch last Sat as he was off) then Sunday is off to visit my deal old Nan who has finally had to go into a home as she now has complete short term memory loss, poor ol dear is 95 on Monday.

Love and massive hugs to you all

  • Had a very productive evening so far...

been to Victorian Street fair with DH,
2 loads of washing done and a 3rd in now,
    dinner cooked and eaten
    chocolate shared out and eaten
dehydrator emptied and dried vegetables wizzed to a powder
mushrooms sliced and prepared for their turn in dehydrator tomorrow
2 arguements with DD2 done and dusted

That ice cream sounds lovely Lil-me...can I have a dish while I do my share of doodles in Pigpens notebook?
