shell, lil_me and especially pigpen
Lock the bathroom door and run a lovely warm bubbly nice scented bath, pour yourself a glass of wine and light some candles and relax away from the world for a while. Doesn't make the problems go away, but might make you feel a wee bit better.
Hugs

Tiamai - what to do with haddock... what I normally do is...
Ideally, but feel free to substitute:
Mix some grated cheese, chopped tomato, spring onion with some mayonnaise, bit of salt and pepper. Top the fish with it and grill until bubbling and fish cooked. Can even top it with some crispy bacon.
Apologies if I'm too late, maybe for next time.
Stopped thinking about dusters for a while - gave me a headache.0 -
Evening All
Haven't posted for a couple of days as I haven't been very well, haven't had chance to catch up with the thread yet. I'm feeling a little better today, thank you for all your best wishes!!!
All my flying is done this week :j , so I get some "me" time tomorrow when DS is with his dad. So I think a little retail therapy is in order!!
Think I will also finish off some presents that need wrapping. Need to visit my neice tomorrow as it is her birthday on Sunday.
I am so glad I joined this thread, I would spend 4-5 hours on a saturday doing my cleaning and I hated it, by breaking it down and doing a bit each night when I get home from work I don't even notice it. And thanks to all of you guys I love reading what you get up to each day!!
See you later

Serena.. sadly everyone in the immediate family knows what a twerp he is so none will have him any more.. or else he would never be here!! lol
Rach.. I rarely get pee'd off with them.. the little ones are just adorable.. DS1 was never adorable he was ALWAYS very hard work.. I really wish that particular sperm had been a different one.. life would be so much easier!
Oh.. the SENCO has assessed DS3.. he doesn't have dyslexia.. they think his handwriting difficulties are down to him being left handed male and lazy!!!! lol He is being kept on the school action though just so he is flagged up as 'needing supervision'. DD3 is still being assessed but we should have the details soon enough. I think she is just bone idle TBH. She hates academic stuff and much prefers bimbo-lessons lol.
AND.. I am feeling SO fed up.. everyone is having chip shop slop for dinner!!!!! How LAZY am I???????
I have just spent £150 on christmas presents as well.. and have another bit to spend later.. and it HAS to be on the 2 younger boys. I need a couple of PS2 games for them which I'll make hubby get from game or similar in the 'pre-owned' bit. I need to get them both some trainers as well I think.. cos they like them! and I need an MP3 player for DS2... ooh look.. I chose some things to get!!!!!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Evening everyone,
Not long home as took DD to the doctors, her gland swoll up on her neck to the size of a golf ball, i've been in all week to the nurse and she said to let it work it's course but the doc decided to put her on an antibacotic(sp). It's all down to her glue ear.
Thanks Lil_me for the info, tried to put an order in tonight but it wouldn't let me because of date from was 11/07 and there saying thats the future so i'll try tomorrow seeing as it's december.
Right time to get kiddies sorted for bed and then i'll have piece and quite to sort out the toyroom/pc room.
Update later.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Wow there must be something in the air at the moment. Big DD (5 years) who is always an angel had THE biggest meltdown stroppy tantrum this evening, think I am still in shock!! All is calm now though, is there a full moon??? Well have defrosted the freezer and cleaned big DD bedroom and done daily essentials but thats about it really. Spent morning with a friend and SIL came over after school with niece. Am now waiting for Mr T to deliver this months goodies and will put on Harry Potter again (fell asleep last night)!! Hope evryone has a good weekend!0

Hi all,
I have managed to get the huge puppy to lie down quietly and for the first time since ( I think ) Monday, use the computer. He is possibly a Pointer, but it is like having a very destructive toddler, or like pigpen's teenager in the house. I don't even dare to type loudly in case I disturb him.
Hugs to all who need them especially pigpen. My sons all did the angry teenager thing later than most so DS2 at 18 is still doing it. Hopefully yours will turn into a gorgeous young man before that. My 21year old is wonderful when away from his brothers but a screaming banshee when they are all in the house together.
This feeling stroppy must be catching. Last night I decided that I was sick to death of everyone and refused to make dinner. DH came home from work-after two hour visit to the pub- to find no meal made. He and DS3 managed to make dinner from freezer contents without any input form me. Menu plan went a bit wrong but I got a night off and hopefully made them appreciate me more!!
Oh, flying. I haven't done any except clean bathroom yesterday when we gained it back from the puppy. You should see what he has done to the door and door frame.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
