Seeing as you are all (like me) not in a pleasant mood I have posted a weekend list to cheer you all up :rotfl:
poohbear, sounds like puppy is a bit of a handful, well done for the strop and not feeding everyone, I know my partner would opt for takeaway if I did that which would teach them all absolutely nothing apart from if they annoy me they get a treat.
Rach ((hugs)) definately catching isn't it.
Oh thank goodness we've all got somewhere to vent, I think I might bribe DSs, they want to go for the tree tomorrow, we need to tidy the sitting room (basically take their stuff upstairs and dump Dad's in his garage) and sort through the decorations bag before we can, hmm, wonder if I can get them to do it now....
Oh and I need to SORN DPs car, he forgot! One day I might be more organised...........

I did the half hour ironing so that has made me happier (I hate seeing the pile there). Am feeling on more of an even keel now, not sure what that was about
.
Was naughty and had pizza delivered for tea. I really must restock the freezer with HM versions for future "canni-be-arsed-itus" :rotfl: . And just realise not heard from Nicki this week........I know your watching:p .
Right brandy for me - now that HAS put a smile on my face. Is it the pub tonight Pigpen, you definately deserve it.0 -

Ideally, but feel free to substitute:
Mix some grated cheese, chopped tomato, spring onion with some mayonnaise, bit of salt and pepper. Top the fish with it and grill until bubbling and fish cooked. Can even top it with some crispy bacon.
Apologies if I'm too late, maybe for next time.
Stopped thinking about dusters for a while - gave me a headache.
That sounds lovely! Will try it next time and top it with bacon as hubby loves bacon.
I chopped some leek and sliced some mushrooms, put in a dish with lots of parsley, some veg stock and cider vinegar (no red wine) and laid the haddock over it, baked in the oven and served with rice. Was nice, even I ate all of it!
Dishes need doing again.. hold on, hubby was starting to make an offer there.... but it turned out to be 'How about, you wash, dry and put them away and I will stand and watch you?'.
Hmmm... fine then Mr. You will stand and watch me and miss playing xbox! HA!0 -
Is it safe to come in?
Sorry you're all having a pooh day
Now what to do with haddock... oh I hate fish I really do.
Send it to pigpen she can use it on her two oldest males - fish-slap YEAH! :j
I've done lunch, done xmas shopping and had a lovely time with my two aunties, dropped littley off at her nanas for the night, been to asda for chocolates, gonna make a cooked brekkie (I know) for tea, got OH staying with me tonight (ooh la la) and I'm a celeb final is on. Bliss!0 -
evening
so - party here tonight then to cheer you all up?
I'm not stroppy - just tired. Not surprised there are a few of you feeling upset as we all seem to have a to do list from hell that never ends. A woman's lot is never done is it?
are you all doing trees this weekend? I think we may be the weekend after. We'll be getting a real tree as usual, but don't want it too early as it will end up shedding too many needles before the big day.
I think it may be a bit of a nightmare keeping charlie off it. Normally bad enough just with the cats.
DH is still at work, so solo dinner, i guess i will be then washing up, and ugly betty for me. i may just switch the laptop on and finish off the work i was doing earlier. it shouldn't take long and then it will be done without hanging over me tomorrow.
hope you all feel a bit better after your 'me' time.
Michelle, x0 -
I'm planning on doing my tree around the 13th. got a brand new one from MIL (well, she used it once) it's a slim 6ft black one and looked fab last year, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut I've just spotted rinky dinky real trees in Asda in a pot so you can replant them, they're sooooooooo cute, I want one of those!
Just opened my mail and received an apology from someone at HM revenue and customs for losing my details, apparently I was one of the 25 million - fab  as long as I still get my fam allowance I'm not that bothered.
Have yto sign off for the night now, OH's just turned up

I had my letter today too. I like the way they included our details on it again so if it did go astray at least there's another chance someone can steal our identity!
I love December. Chocolate advent calendars mean my children will do everything I tell them under threat that I won't let them open them if they don't! I'm a mean mum!
Slightly worried that even though I upped our 'absolutely everything' budget to £150 a week i'm already down to £53.50 and it's not even the first of the month yet. Opened DDs bookbag to find a bill for £50 for next terms piano lessons which needs to be paid by next Friday. Is the school mad! Who has a spare £50 just before Christmas! That will leave me with £3.50 for food, train fares, cat food and chocolate! Guess i'm just buying chocolate next week! xxJanuary budget

LJD1 I was thinking the same thing, but because I forgot to inform them we'd moved
ooops I thought I had, it was redirected here, so I suppose they won't have all my correct details.
DP got a letter from MBNA this morning asking him to call them about fraudlent activity on his account. Someone has tried to use it to pay for things in Germany, France, Canada and USA, over £650 worth! So they have cancelled his card and are sending another. Kind of scary, never had that happen before.
LJD1 I know exactly what you mean with the bills, in one hand and out the other, like the great news about my Quidco came then a stonker of a final bill for the gas & electric this morning. Never a time when you can go 'Oh great extra money' is there! Well done at getting the priorities straight however. One day I might be more organised...........
