afternoon all
i had a busy morning at work and got supplies at asda for the youth group's world aids day fund-raising fun night tomorrow night. i hate asda, especially on a Friday...but pizzas are cheaper there!
few bits to do this aft, my plan is as follows:
post aimee's bags
sorting office for parcel
collect boxes from friend's garage (4.30)
tidy right through
hoover right through
clean bathroom
DW on
change water in flowers (& de pollen them or OH will be sneezing all weekend!)
make fish pie for dinner
Phone OH's sis (bridesmaid) re shoes etc
book sunday lunch
mopay claim & send off old phone
find raffle prizes for tomorrow & sort box of stuff to take
do expenses (grrr the treasurer has gone away for 2 weeks i need them before she is back)
pay M&S bill
very sweet, an old guy from church sent us a wedding present cheque of £20 todayhow lovely. i will stash it away, need to start a list as we are bound to get some stuff like that which is not on our list - we're also having charity donations for the charity OH works for.

Just to confound you further, my cats don't attack mine, but are completely and utterly terrified of it..... :rotfl:
rumbly x
Ha cats! In our living room we have 2 chairs, a sofa and a rocking chair....rocking chair supposed to be mine, all minewhere I sit and sew and/or read, but I'm a nice person so I share it uncomplainingly with the cat - who prefers it to any of the other places to sit in the room.....until today that is cause my little treasure is right now balanced on the very edge of the armchair she usually ignores, looking very pained because there is a pile of books on the seat...she's fallen off twice and still keeps getting up and trying again :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...rocking chair? empty!

vanilla, it's only those who are listed on the cup (10 shops) that are included, but of course you can still get cashback from others
G&B I sliced my thumb yesterday while buttering with a normal dinner knife, didn't think they were that sharp until there was red stuff all over my roll! Over an inch long so will be more careful in future.
LJD1 hopefully next week, waiting to find out when he can do the photos, I will scan it and post it once it's doneI'm going to get a copy for me aswell.
Well I went to the shops aswell as paying a gas & electric bill that just arrived, £47 electric and £42 gas for 24 days!!, popped to the high street near where we used to live, now 2 dog groomers and yet another posh sandwich shop there making 4 there now which is just madness on a small high street (about 18 shops which already included a traditional family bakers) got the pet stuff sorted, not even a fruit and veg shop there which seems silly, popped to see the vet about Luke's eyes but she thinks the same as me, waste of money buying more antibiotics as they haven't worked so will keep cleaning it.
Been to the farm shop, confirmed Christmas order, promised turkey order will be fine and won't have a price increase. I got some things while I was there, will come from Decembers budget, then the farmers wife brought out some locally made icecream they had started selling, well I ended up buying that too2 flavours I got are chocolate heaven (VERY NICE!!) and Christmas Pudding which I think is one of the nicest I have ever tasted. I can tell I will end up buying some everytime I am there, about 10 flavours
If my freezer wasn't so full would have bought more today. Went to Lidls for some passatta (Tesco have had none in the last 4 times I have been, anyone elses Tesco the same?) and some tinned stuff, picked up coffee for next month which was on 2 for £6.50. All to come from December budget as that is when it'll be used.
Oh and I must be mad, I have let DP talk me into getting a real tree for the first time ever. He has said he'll keep the area clean and vacuum regular (it's the thought of the mess that makes me cringe!:o ) We're going to get it tomorrow I think so might spend tonight (after I finish the boys room) sorting through what decorations we have.
Iceland do cheap pizzas Rach, if there is one near you they are usually quieter than Asda. I'll join you on the challenge as must tackle the rest of the boys rooms. One day I might be more organised...........

30 min challenge did someone say? :T0 -
Just back from DD1 first school fair:eek:  they should have a government health warning. First queue to get in hall, no buggies allowed so had to wake DD2 who was having a nap only managed to get to first 3 stalls then everything ground to a halt. Managed to get a set of the father xmas pegs DD's class had made and she said she was happy to leave. I really dont remember my school fairs etc being so packed, but then we had a bigger sports hall I guess
. Can now see why if they are only doing one concert this year it will need to be outside.
My grumpy mood is now even grumpier. Really need to snap out of it, any suggestions???0
