DS2 is a disgusting little child. TWICE today he has been scooping poop from his nappy! First time he just rubbed it into his arms, second time he was upstairs having a nap and I woke him up to discover his bed sheets, clothes, face and hands covered! So, bathed him, changed him and moved the blind (that is tacked up until we get a curtain pole up) and the little !!!!!! has smeared !!!!!! all over the bloody window and sill!!!!!! AND over the bottom rail of his bloody bed!!! ARGH! I just wish I could get him toilet trained, he is obviously at the age where he is disliking the nappies, but he still doesn't know when he is actually doing a pee. Maybe I can train him to poop in the toilet first?

I'd speak to my HV but she is as much use as the proverbial limp penis in a brothel.

Making corned beef hash for lunch, maybe it will cheer me up!

And now he has just bit his big brother on the leg and made it bleed!

I had to pull him off! What am I going to do with this child?

Oh Tia i remember that stage, i really feel for you. My lot done it all over the windows, hubby thought it was melted chocolate:rotfl: .

So far i'm half way through kitchen and half way through toyroom. I'm tring to find a cuboard that the christmas goodies can go in, think i'll use the paper cuboard but i'll have to find a place for all the paper.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Afternoon all

Terrible weather here today - we've had sun, wind, rain, thunder, lightning and hail! Needless to say the washing is draped round indoors.

Very little else done really. Well, it is Saturday ;)

    Hi all :D

Well been good today, your motivations are helping me to keep up. I've done a lot today, thankfully because i'm cooking by slow cooker so i'm able to to all sorts.

Kids are either out or watching the TV, so i've done the following:

Completed my bedroom, looks bigger now I have room and I can now see what colour my carpet is :D I must admit, I feels so much better now it's tidy, I can walk in without looking at mess and getting depressed about it.

The boys room is looking ok, just need to hoover which i'll leave until tomorrow.

I just need to touch up downstairs a bit, but i'll do that in between coming on here :D

Just going off to have a cuppa Tea, be back soon.

  • Hi everyone

hope you have all been enjoying the wonderful sunshine!! Blue skies all day here.

I have managed to be busy today - bought my first Christmas present - wow go me! I managed to get hair straighteners for DD from ebay.

Then cooked home made soup and bread in the BM. THEN I have taken down the 'wonderful' floral curtains that were left when I bought my house. I put up the new pole despite not being able to find the drill bit; it is amazing how effective a hammer and nail can be.

Finally I have taken down another set of floral curtains in the kitchen and hung a cream roman blind.

Now I am shattered and having a little break with a hot drink then it will be time to sort out the 3 loads of washing I have done.

    Afternoon all!

Our house looks worse than it did yesterday. One sofa piled on the other and all other furniture from the living room is in the hall, the fireplace is in the kitchen and...wait for it...we have the first coat of paint on three of the walls. Think we might get it all decorated today as it says 2 hours between coats. I'm allowing myself to get the teeniest bit excited. Still no floor down yet but I don't believe in miracles! We working hard today and having the day off tomorrow.

    Hugs to all xx

Who the heck said that making christmas cards was a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon? They were bloody liars!

Supposed to be taking these two to a special event at a local NTS Castle tomorrow, but the way they are acting, no chance! Hubby is working so I will be on my own too, nightmare.

Last bit of fish and some chips in the oven, think they will be in bed for 6pm tonight.
