Evening All
This cold is really getting me down, had to cancel a night out on friday because I know I won't be up to it. Anyway my GP thinks its too soon since my operation to go into town and drink lots of "pop"!!
Horrible day at work, spent all day working on something only to be told they'd changed their minds and they want something different .
Anyway since I got home, I've stripped my bed and washed sheets (on radiators now), had tea and washed dishes, cleaned bathroom, done online shop at Mr T's and prepared everything for tomorrow.
Just had quick shower and washed my hair, going to have a hot choc and call it a day me thinks.
See you!!

Evening everyone.
rumbly- thanks for the advice and the recommendation for evening primrose, will look into that.
sexymouse- well done for getting your Christmas plans sorted, hope you have a less stressful time with no rows this year.
taurus- bacon and potato scones sound interesting, could you post a recipe please?
gunsandbanjos- hope that phone turns up tomorrow, so frustrating waiting in for a delivery.
hex2- good luck with your job application.
mad with money- welcome to the thread and congrats on your new baby too.
Today I did a trip to the tip, 2 to the charity shop and one to the recycling with clothes not good enough for the charity shop.
Went to see my dad, did a bit of shopping for him first.
Took all the Christmas presents down from on top of the wardrobe in our room, sorted through them and then put them away on top of the spare bedroom wardrobe which is now clear because we tidied that room up whilst doing the loft as it was a holding area for stuff that needed to be stored.
So bedroom looks very tidy.
One load of washing done.
No list writing, no clean bathroom.
Need to quickly make lunches for tomorrow and then iron some clothes to get us through school and work the next couple of days.
I think proper flying is going to have to wait until Monday. I will have a new routine, I will, I will, I will!...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

hello to madwithmoney, and ME - fab suggestion for low hanging coat hooks. Was just trying to think of a way of sorting out hooks that i could train charlie to use now we have started the tidy up training. (he can put toys back in the box but then enjoys tipping it over again - oh well- its a start and not bad for a 13 month old)
work sent to school already, charlie's clothes are laid out for in the morning - he IS going to nursery so i can have a rest and feel better. Must remember to sort out his antibiotics and his eye drops to send with him tomorrow.
i will be watching heroes, and then hanging up a load of washing done earlier while DH washes up. I will be in bed by 10:15.
tomorrow i am planning on having a slow potter through some school work so i feel ready for next week, and perhaps sorting through the bag of maternity clothes my friend gave me, doing a couple of loads of washing, and running the hoover round downstairs.
so many things to do, but i am still not 100% to do it.
sexymouse well done you on getting all that done today.
See you all tomorrow0 -

Hi Kimberley - I have learnt that for me doing things later will never happen.
Maybe join one of us in a 30 minute challenge and just see how much you can get done or even 15 minutes in a room. A short burst of activity is often more productive than a plan to spend a lot of time later. Goodluck

I am smiling tonight as we got the flat we looked at this afternoon. the one i saw this morning was a bit manky but the afternoon one is great - good location (can save a lot on my commute), 3 bedrooms so we can have a spare and a study, and is close to Oh's friends and family. the agent was great, we paid a holding deposit this aft and just need to wait for references but we should get keys on 10th decemberIt's so good to think another thing is sorted! i got to the station on the way home and almost cried with relief...i think i hadn't realised how stressed i was until it was sorted!
the flat here is an absolute mess, need to tidy and clean right through tomorrow, my mum is coming next week too.am hoping i will sleep in tomorrow and wake up feeling a lot more human!
