I suspect IPM6 is the company's own report number.
No, it appears to be a standard form condition report for installations made under the previous set of regulations.
As it's undated, it's even more useless to you than everyone has already explained. For all you know it's from the previous sale 2 years ago.....
Indeed, at most all it would seem to show is that a different electrician, at an unknown date in the past, came to a different opinion about a couple of things from your current electrician.

looks like there are some missing pages from that report.
    Pages 1,2 and 8
Page 1 would include a summary and page 2 Observations and recommendations for action to be taken.
Page 2 would also have the name of the person carrying out the test and the date.
Page 8 is the Test Results

It's also remarkable that every single item on the inspection schedule is ticked as in 'acceptable condition'. Quite a number of those items will not even be there to check and should have been marked N/A.

The guy doesn't even know how to label "page 1 of 7 etc"!

  • The forum is correct. I’ve hidden my address and the electricians business address on page one and two.
  • Yes I don’t have page 8!

Indeed, "placing out of reach" is not permitted in domestic premises, so definately cannot be "acceptable"

And I can't see where the two generating sets (one switched, one parallel) are connected :)
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
  • So what do I do?

You get your own electrician to give you a report, and a price for remedying any defects he finds.

Then you get another (2?) electricians to give comparative quotes for the same work and decide which electrician to use and what work to get done.
  • Would I not be contacting my solicitor because they are supposed to check such documents?
