    Morning all

    Hugs from me too asb.

Just about to start paid stuff again... already did an hour!
    Washing swishing
    Dailies done
Will shuffle some laundry round to make room for what is in the machine on my way upstairs
Have emptied the recycling but will take the bag out later when it’s a little warmer!
I think I will take the hoover and duster upstairs with me, then I can aim to do the top floor when I break for lunch, as we deep cleaned the rooms up there last weekend they don’t need too much doing.

Righto, have finished cuppa, time to get on...

Have a good day all x
  • Oh dear, not doing so well this morning. My GUAG has gone. Washing is in and have made a phone call, man coming this afternoon to quote to cut down 2 trees and trim the others. Should have done it weeks ago before they started dropping their leaves.

    Pellet stove cleaned and reloaded.
    Kithen and lounge tidy

But large pile of paperwork on desk is looking at me!
Going to make a cuppa and look through. I suppose just doing sopething will a least be a start and progess.

    Scurrying off in shame

Weather nice so stripped bed and did a load of washing. Hung it outside.
    One load through DW
Clothes and general stuff cleared from bedroom.
    Dusted.
    Vacuumed. Emptied debris.
    Shook rugs outside.
Set off for drum practice but door locked and vicar out.
Checked church flowers and retrieved specs I'd left there on Sun.
Drove to uni and it started raining.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Washing out on line, '[STRIKE]talking[/STRIKE]' having a strongly worded conversation, with pension people, who are now suggesting something I have never heard of or asked for, when it clouds over, end call, mad banshee run:rotfl: outside to grab everything.......

Been and bought 2 new washing baskets as the other ones have now fallen apart, they must have been at least 10 year old or older.

    Lunch eaten
    Cat fed.

Pension people are wearing me out, my guag has gone as well, why cannot they do as asked / or tell me if it is too difficult for them to do. Conversation goes:-
oh I put it in the post to you.............
    When was that?
On the 11th Oct 1st class

Well today is the 17th, can you email it to me?
No as it has sensitive information in it
Well it seems to have gone missing in the post then.
    oh I'll send it again
and so it goes on

  • Work done, washing over airer, I've had a good cry (you just need to sometimes don't you?), now having a brew before picking the kids up from club.

We all need to be out of the house for 6.30am tomorrow.... a feel a list coming on....
  • It would normally be my turn to cook tonight, and I'm sure that /himself would appreciate walking in from the hammering rain to a hot dinner.

However, the kitchen is vile, he's done nothing with it in three days off and one evening and, as such, I'm not touching it, So I can't cook.

He should be back in about an hour. I wonder how he's going to try to get out of this one? At the very least, it'll be going straight back out again to get a takeaway in the torrential rain.

Oh, well, I loaded up on crumpets and butter (or should that be butter with added crumpets?) when doing a bit of extra time at work this afternoon, so I'm fine. I just knew I couldn't possibly start to cook anything when I got home without doing a couple of hours of cleaning first.

So I'm not doing it. [digs heels in]

No dirty pots at this house :T

3 x HHC this week and it has MAD in the kitchen.

Only WUDUPA pots and a laundry shuffle tonight though - tired!

    Hugs to all

  • Meh. I caved. It annoyed me too much, especially knowing that it would still be there waiting for me at half past sparrowfart Saturday morning otherwise. Didn't take long, though - everything got swept off the countertop into a bin bag, cleaned the sink/bowl/drainer, two bowls of washing up, wipe over the hob, countertops and appliances, quick sweep of the floor and done. Probably took all of about 20 minutes.

He came in about ten minutes ago, instantly picked up the binbag I'd left passive-aggressively by the front door and took it out to the wheelie bin, ejected the SC Lifeform & washed the bowl and lid up and is now cooking something.

Once that's eaten (and he's hopefully cleaned up after himself for a change), I'm having a bath and then getting into the nicely made bed - I did that as I was getting out of my work clothes and chucking assorted socks and stuff that's been worn this week into the linen bin.

I know it's probably self defeating to clean it, but it really annoyed me to know it was there and I don't want to start my week off (how can it be half term already?) knowing that I'll be spending my days off doing it all then. He'll be working most of it [strike]hopefully[/strike], so I'll have time to myself to actually do what I want, rather than try to get the house back into order - it's pretty much almost perfect all the time right now (apart from his mullering the kitchen regularly), so I'll do some of the odd jobs I have been meaning to get around to, do some shopping and do a lot of pottering around, probably. Or gardening - it'll be a bit damp, but I definitely need to do some hacking and chopping.

    Well done Round :T.
    ((Hugs)) ASB.

Before work this morning I forced myself into gear and managed:
    HHI
    WM x 1
    Changed DD’s bed
    Cleaned en-suite
    S&s bathroom.

    After work I:
    Cooked dinner in sc
    Dusted our bedroom
    Wm x 1
Painted one of the landing doors
    Washed hair
    Did kitchen s&s after dinner.
The vacuum cleaner really could do with the exercise but that was 1 step too far.

DW is now running, I’ve showered and am in pjs with a cuppa in hand. My best friend sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, just because. They are now taking up the entire fireplace and look stunning.

    Evening all

Long day of paid stuff. No flying done apart from the dailies and laundry shuffle that I did this morning.
Tomorrow promises to be more of the same, looks like Saturday will have to be catch up time, fortunately the house doesn’t look too bad as we have both been too busy to mess it up!

    See you all tomorrow x
