Boog has a trial shift for a trainee chef on Sunday.. I need something to inspire him.. he has absolutely no spark or will to do anything.. he follows me around whining like a giant toddler.. Hopefully he will do well on Sunday.. I might ramp him up on fizzy pop and set him free! haha. He just applied for a couple of trainee positions and at the new Lidl opening soon. Him having a job by the end of the month is my mission!

Flyingwise I hung out a duvet.

Ooh.. the kittens have brought themselves back in here to sleep so I will shut the door to keep them confined while the children get back.

Cuppa.. DW.. TD.. WM .. and then dinner I guess.

I need to bag up an ebay sale and post that.. and get 'passport' pics done

  • I don`t mind taking part in the card swap though I usually put the few I get out for recycling.

Finished off cleaning the shower.... it`s a pain lifting the tray to clean the gunk underneath.
Decluttered two bathroom cabinets. It`s not looking too bad even though I need to clean the window
    and tiles.

Rest of the flat looking pretty good even if I have to pull out the furniture in the living room to vacuum underneath and swap over to my winter clothes and put away my summer things.

Note to self... the shredder needs to be emptied

I still haven't planted up the patio pots, but I did turn up two pairs of pyjama bottoms as well as the other two pairs of trousers :D Ah well, tomorrow is another day, and although I cleaned upstairs thoroughly today, I will hoover and dust downstairs in the morning. Then I'm off to the big city to have lunch with a friend with whom i used to work.

    (((Hugs))) to Fayolle.

Thanks for the GWS wishes - I'm feeling a bit better today, but my walking pace has definitely slowed. Rosie's walk lasted over an hour instead of the 45 minutes I used to take on that route.

    Today:
    - went to zumba.
    - went to see MIL and thankfully the sun finally came out after a week of rain, so I could take her out into the garden in her wheelchair which she enjoyed.
    - sun continued so did a load of washing and actually hung it out.
    - spent an hour in the garden severely pruning a shrub encroaching on the front drive - my car bleeps madly whenever I reverse near it, and if I park too close (to avoid the other overgrown tree on the other side of the drive), I get very wet if it's been raining. Shredded all the trimmed branches.
    - Put away one lot of dried clothes and hung today's on the rack in the spare room to finish off.
    - Continued a report which I'd hoped to finish today but the night is yet young!
    - Had a welcome interruption by my brother ringing, sounded like he needed to unload a bit.
    - reviewed lists. Mr N comes home on Thurs eve :j so I'd better do a blitz as the place is always immaculate when I've been away.
    - Emptied all the bins in the house.
    - Filled bird feeders.

Glad you are a little better Ionafan. Hugs to Fayolle

Boog actually seems quite pleased about this job trial.. I am almost speechless!!!! He needs black shoes by Sunday.. where the heck do I get those from?? I'm thinking a £20 pair of work shoes from amazon and pray they fit!

Off to find uniforms for the pinks..

I'm up for christmas cards .. I always love my little bundle of cards

  • Morning all,

I may have two whole (Childminder) day's in which to fly. Definitely today, and then tomorrow if the supply agency don't ring I may have tomorrow too.
I've been reading a book about our tendencies towards meeting inner and outer expectations and my personality is that I can only meet outer expectations. I need external accountability, hence why I have the need to post my lists here. So: here's another of Wish's mega lists. (Hopefully pretty much in priority order)

    Shower & wash hair
Fold up & put away dry washing
    Hang up wet washing
Gather washing & put on if full load
Hang up this washing if I do it
Pack clothes for week away at work
Order travel hair dryer and new phone charging cable
    Find spare phone charger plug
Put out of office reply on work email account (forgot yesterday)
Print out & complete holiday club forms for Pickle
Review complaint letter for friend, edit & send back.
Pack laptop & paperwork bag for work trip
Pack Pickle's clothes for holiday trip
Pack Pickle's bedding stuff for holiday trip
Pack pickle's toys for holiday trip
Pack mine & hubby's stuff for holiday trip
Write hubby a list of things he'll need to bring with him on train to holiday trip
Write hubby a list of things to do before he leaves for holiday trip (so House is properly closed up)
Meal plan and shopping list for hubby while I'm away
    Tidy kitchen
    Tidy dining room
    Tidy living room
    Tidy h/s/l
    Tidy bathroom
    Tidy pickle's room
    Tidy our room
    Rubbish & recycling out

Continue to strip woodwork in front room

I may add extras, but I feel better having written it all down.

    Wish me luck.

    Morning all

Hope you are all ok. I am just about to start paid stuff. Will get the washing machine swishing first, I have an early meeting but once that is done I will do my dailies and hopefully have time for a few other bits.

Have a good day, back later with progress report x

Morning all, I'm not sure what happened to yesterday I sort of spent it on the sofa slobbing and watching Christmas movies on the Sony Christmas channel. Although saying that I did manage to cook a proper dinner for DH - Pinch of Nom's C0ck and Bull with pasta. (Its chicken and beef in a cream cheese sauce) Very nice if I must say say so. Tonight we have Dirty Rice from their book, which reminds me I have to get dressed and go out to get some rice, I'm sure there was something else...lol
