Thank you list-writers.
Today's priorities:
- Get lounge in an appropriate state for a private assessment this morning. I vacuumed on Sat and part-cleared the dining table yesterday.
- label up the paperwork for the assessment, printed/piled it yesterday.
- continue with kitchen decluttering. Taking even longer that I thought but it's going well. 4 cupboards and 5 drawers have been totally emptied, cleaned and reorganised with enough stuff being disposed of that 1 shelf in each of 2 cupboards is empty!
- 2 reports to write up.
That's the major stuff. Will go to Mr T after my drum lesson this afternoon.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Worst night's sleep EVER.
Kept waking up after weird dreams.
If someone could give me a boot up the derrière, I'd be most grateful.
First job is sorting a bomb site of a kitchen, when I'm sure it looked nice before I went to bed:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -
 Morning, not sure what's wrong with me as I'm up and dressed - all before 9am. And that includes showered too.
I cleaned the bathroom while I was waiting to dry off after my shower - those dishmatic long handled sponges are brilliant. You just put your cleaner in the handle and away you go. I have different ones in the kitchen, toilet and bathroom . Why didn't I think of this beforehand, they are brilliant.
Just eating breakfast then walking the dog before heading off to the chemist and the drs.
Explain this one ladies - I presented in crisis on Thursday to the hospital. Ok I got them to send me home with a promise I would be safe and the triage would ring me within a 48 hr range. They rang at lunchtime yesterday (Sunday) - that's 4 days. Gods help you if you weren't suicidal:(Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all,
I'm in this week and it's off to a good start as yesterday afternoon cleaned DD2's bathroom and bedroom as cousin was staying, but he actually slept in his camper van so just used the bathroom, really not in too bad a shape this morning. DD1 and boyfriend joined us for dinner yesterday and cleared up so kitchen is good too.
This sadly means I am running out of excuses to look at household admin and finances. The pile on the desk is very high, too high.
Visiting friend in hospital this afternoon and working this evening. So'd better get a wiggle on.0 -

You know where my inbox/messenger is if you EVER need to offload.
Dont hesitate.
The system leaves a lot to be desired.
Have whooshed around the kitchen and flaked out on the sofa.
Shredded gammon is back in the slow cooker keeping warm for dinner later.
A bad night's sleep does not agree with me.:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -
Me again. Natty, I like pick and mix too and if it means one less job for you each evening then all is well.
In the living room I have cleaned dado rails, skirting boards, light fittings, coffee tables, round the edges of the patio doors, hoovered the sofas and changed the throws, and while the hoover was out I hoovered all downstairs.
Still not dressed and just having breakfast.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Just a quick question do you all want to do the Christmas Card Swap this year again?
I'm just sorting out stuff for it to get ready to post up on FB but if no-one wants to do it this year I won't go ahead.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Hugs to all those struggling.
Natty I'd be up for the card swap, I rather like it but I'm not going to sink into a decline if everyone would rather save paper etc.
Today's priorities:
- [STRIKE]Get lounge in an appropriate state for a private assessment this morning. I vacuumed on Sat and part-cleared the dining table yesterday.[/STRIKE] Also remembered she may want to use the bathroom, so have cleaned that.

- continue with kitchen decluttering. Taking even longer that I thought but it's going well. 4 cupboards and 5 drawers have been totally emptied, cleaned and reorganised with enough stuff being disposed of that 1 shelf in each of 2 cupboards is empty! Did a bit more. Have found a place (one of the empty shelves) to put the food processor when Mr N gets home and can fiddle with lowering a shelf, that will free up a more logical shelf to put glasses. They are meant to live in the dresser in the dining room, but seem to constantly migrate into the kitchen where they sit on the work surface annoying me. Now they can sulk on a shelf below the mugs, which makes more sense.
- 2 reports to write up.
[STRIKE]Filed some paperwork.[/STRIKE]
Feeling chuffed as I now have time to sit down with a coffee once I've changed, all ready for the student to arrive at 11.30.
Have a good day everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
