  • Morning all,

Up very early today, kids to waken shortly and drop at a friends so I can get to work early. One of those days where I feel guilty about prioritising other peoples kids at work over my own but needs must...

Posi vibes would be appreciated this morning please. House is tidy, bed made, make up, now time to wake the children.

    Happy Friday all xx

PS had 5 NSDs this week:j

    proud mum time

DS passed his promotion exams/role play/presentations (six hours!) with flying colours and one of the highest ever overall percentages. He was offered an assistant managers job immediately (but is waiting to see what other locations are advertising) and I'm pleased and proud.

Well done Valli on being such a clever mum! Well done to DS too but we all know that when they do well it' because of their mums!

No work today so must fly.

Bedroom is tidied, windows opened and bed stripped, mattress cover currently in WM, bedding waiting to follow.
Tidied desk yesterday and threw away all the rubbish so piole now fits in tray and looks tackable, so that will be looked at.
    Ironing to be done too.

First breakfast and coffee, and I might even eat it in the living room in front of the pellet stove I've just put on as house is damp this morning and feels cold. Cats are very happy sleeping in front of it.

Then it will be a series of HHC.

    See you later

Well done to you DS Valli.

Morning all. No flying getting done here. Was hoping normal life could now resume here but no, DH is now seriously ill in hospital.

Oh, the settee throw is in the machine. That's flying!
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Well done valli's son. A great achievement.

I've set the wm swishing and hung up some dry clothes.

Mummy and Pickle day today so we are going out ( not quite as much of an epic day as Monday, but will be good to blow the cobwebs away)

I really need to write a list for this evening.

HHC done (more like an hour)

    Ironing basket cleared
    Hair appointment made
    Bathroom s/s
DW put on a cleaning cycle (product was on offer and i've just spent 2 days trying to get my washing machine de-gunked so thought better try and avoid similar problem with DW)
    Recycling out

    More coffee then another HHC
  • *sneaks back in, hanging head in shame*

I thought I would pop my head back in - I have been absent for a long while! Thanks ladies for the lists - I need to find my GUAG! I'm in a bit of a funk - so much to do, so I don't do any of it!! I know you ladies know what I mean :rotfl:

I have work today, but the little man I have today will need a nap, so I may get some admin done while he naps.

Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them, esp ASB Well done to Valli's DS

Special thoughts to you and your DH, Jazee.
    Posivibes to asb x
    More (((hugs))) to Fayolle x
Commiserations to Jojo - my DH is also capable of messing up the kitchen in one fell swoop, which is one reason why I do nearly all the food prep: he just does breakfasts and fills the dishwasher - but he always leaves at least one dirty item on the side!

    :TWell done toVallilad:T

I was going out in the garden this morning but it is raining already :( so no excuse not to hoover through downstairs and steam mop the kitchen - if I can get DH to move from the breakfast table! He is taking me out to lunch today, before he has to go on his (hopefully temporary) restricted diet.

My study is still remarkably tidy :D

Hope everyone has a good weekend when it comes x
