But something more important - HOW MANY KITTENS? And WHY are there no photos?

Cute kittens pigpen.
Jonjo - hang on, someone has had a word with your line manager that you aren't meeting the (invisible) dress code, but they haven't said how. Your line manager doesn't know how you are not meeting the (invisible) dress code either and hasn't suggested any changes??
Ok, it's (possibly) half term, ignore & move on....

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. Kittens are really cute, Piggers.
Caught up on some sleep as I managed on just 2 hours yesterday. Just having breakfast, WM is swishing with DHs stuff I brought back from the hospital.
Will see what flying I can fit in before I need to get back there at lunchtime.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Good morning
Jazee I'm glad you have had a bit more sleep. Remember to be kind to yourself.
Pigpen very cute kittens. I really don't think any knitting would survive!
Yesterday I washed up (some bits re-washed), and re-stacked the DW. The kitchen surfaces were cleared and surfaces wiped, including the hob. I had a bad case of DW related tourette's!! Does anyone else get that? Where you swear & curse as you re-stack the DW (or re-wash some dishes/pans) as some idiot (normally DH) can't do it properly!! I wouldn't mind, but he has had enough practice!! I'm sure he does it to annoy me!:rotfl:
I also managed some admin, particularly sorting through some photos & printing off some that I need.
Today the sun is shining! I have over slept, so no Parkrun (oh dear! What a shame!! :rotfl:). I have had breakfast and made a flask of tea. WM is on. I am going to pack up some food and then when my DM arrives we are heading to the allotment - which also has an overwhelming amount of work to do, but it is so satisfying! I need to take the food bin for the compost heap, and bring back some wood chips for the hot composter here, so that I can empty the other food bin. I haven't put out a food bin for the binmen in months! #tryingtodomybit
I also need to do a food shop - family gathering MILs tomorrow, and we have offered to bring some hot food (chilli, etc.) as otherwise it will be a picky buffet with too much bread that means we haven't had a proper meal! That needs to cooked up tonight or tomorrow a.m.
Have a good peeps!0 -
Time for another cuppa but I wandered down the road to drop off my repeat prescription request at the docs. Dailies are done.
No dogs here for a week as they've gone on the holiday me and DH should have been on with the rest of the family!Spend less now, work less later.0 -
((Hugs)) Jazee. I hope your DH recovers soon. As others have said, be kind to yourself as well.
I’m faffing about as I have a long list of jobs and it’s not raining - which has really thrown me!! The friend plumber is here to fix the work that the paid for plumber botched up. Ironically we didn’t want to bother said friend plumber as he has enough on his plate with elderly parents etc etc...
I really need to vacuum clean EVERYWHERE . But I might sneak into the garden first....0 -
I have time to fly tonight but I have no energy left, the dailies are done so I will make a list and Weekend Willi can do it!
 Sorry, no can do - got enough of my own to do here :rotfl:
This Weekend Willi is smiling nicely at Roundtuit as she has made an effort during the week and it tells. MAD
One bowl of pots to WUDUPA and that's it. (And that's only because I gave myself the evening off yesterday - decluttered some magazines instead.)
1st WM load has finished swishing - it doesn't look promising out there, so it'll be an airer and radiator day. Let the laundry shuffle begin. Then I'll WUDUPA that bowl of pots before I have a coffee.
Hugs, get well soons, get warm soons, well dones, and much love available as needed.

morning all
message from DD; she wants to come home so I suspect she's feeling a bit down - or worse. She is, I assume, en route.
JJTF Manager needs to go back to complainant and ask for specifics. My gut feeling is you're good at your job and they're worried.
The madness may be over, colleague expected to return to work on Monday. Fingers crossed she does and she can cope - or I'll get called in.
Today, however, despite the fact I have a cold and have almost lost my voice I need to clean and tidy. I do feel better than I did, though. I've already put stuff in each of the four bins, including the compost bin. And I have rehomed gibble, and abandoned footwear - mine.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
