Off to school shortly as they are ignoring my questions. I need to amend my grocery order first.

Finally got DH an appointment for his poorly ear, I have been trying for over 4 weeks.

I have hoovered all through downstairs and steam mopped the kitchen, hall and DR floors. Also FUPA some of the washing that was draped around the bathroom and utility.

Rainclouds are gathering again, but I will get out in the garden until the drizzle becomes too much for me.

HHC saw all the bank statements etc filed. Seriously thinking of going paperless as have so much paper. Thinking I could scan and save the invoices etc that aren't available online.
A few other admin bits dealt with too. Starting to feel a bit more in control again.

Time for lunch and want to plan meals for weekend. DD2 home Saturday evening for weekend and has requested cooked breakfast/brunch whilst watching the rugby. Will have to follow Saturdays game on the phone as out for most of the day.

WM on again with the rest of the bedding.

Having a terrible time breathing this afternoon, I had all good intentions and have spent all afternoon wheezing on the sofa.. I might need yet another trip to the quack.. MRI appointment through.. 8:15.. am... AM!!!! Wth??? Do they not have any consideration for people with children at all??? It is idiotic! Anyway.. duly cancelled. Other appointment not yet cancleled/changed.. they won't do anything without some mythical password that no one knows anything about.. I know everything from my NHS number to my blood group.. it is ridiculous !

I have had a bit of a meltdown at school.. so.. Dot has an appointment with the Ed Psych on the 6th for the start of the ADHD/ASD assessment.. I didn't even speak to the SENCo.. she absolutely hates me, this shows to what degree she hates me.. lol.. I caught her out in epic lies and went straight to the head and reported her and she was disciplined for it.. so I'm not popular.. I did also question the appropriateness of someone quite so overweight discussing a 'healthy diet' with the children, while troughing biscuits and doughnuts and I am not joking!... I put it across in a nice way, not quite so bluntly, I'm no twig myself but neither I nor she are qualified in dietetics.. so they now have the school nursing team come in to do the talks. Anyway, 6th November.. hopefully we will finally start to get her some understanding. In the meantime I need to write a list of her weirdness.. thats a LOT of paper!

Neighbours reported for flytipping a sofa out the front of next door.
Kittens running wild about my house. Nutkin is going loops and attacking everything and chirruping as he does so.
I smell like a bear.. the wheezing makes me sweat horrifically.. and I stink! I can't shower until the wheezing stops otherwise I end up worse.

I need to deflea the cats.. all 8
I need to buy food for dinner.
I need to get photo's done for license
I need to pay 3 bills and 1 CC
I need to do a food shop.



Quotes requested for external insulation for the back of the house. I have looked at a couple of places offering grants too.. hopefully I can get a bit of help with that. The back bedroom is incredibly cold and damp as a result, hopefully we can fix that.



Off to reload the WM and TD .. already done 3 loads today but I need to fold it before dinner.

Have spent the afternoon trying to deal with some of the paperwork. Not up to date but some progress has been made.

Huge heap to go in recycling.

Off to bring bin in so I can try and fill it again, I will get rid of the junk in this house

Afternoon all

Paid stuff finally done, what a week!! I’m pooped!
I have been to Mr Ts, bought pizza and beer and will call that supper. I’m sure DH won’t mind!
I have time to fly tonight but I have no energy left, the dailies are done so I will make a list and Weekend Willi can do it!
DH is out all day tomorrow, although he is very helpful it will be sort of nice to have my choice of music on and do the house at my own pace.
After a restorative cuppa I may try and summon some motivation to at least menu plan and make the shopping list, that will save some time tomorrow.

(((Hugs))) ASB. It sounds as though it's a bit over-whelming again. Please don't take careless remarks to heart, even if they're made by someone you love.

Things tidied. Desk cleared again. Kitchen straightened, OH decluttered at the station. I'll be able to crack on again tomorrow.

It's half term. Yay.


I'm confused. Somebody has complained to my line manager that I'm not meeting the Dress Code Standards. But they haven't said how. The Dress Code - which took me fifteen minutes to find as nobody has ever given me a copy or told me where to find one - or even mentioned one existed) says men have to wear a shirt and tie. Last time I looked, I wasn't a man. Nothing about women at all (nothing about men wearing shoes or trousers, either, but I think we can safely assume they aren't allowed to come in wearing bikini bottoms and stilettos). I genuinely don't know what the problem is. I'm wearing tailored trousers, black shoes once I get in (I wear black trainers on the way to work), a tailored blouse or top, nothing's seethrough, short, skimpy or too tight and, other than wearing a black jumper today because I'm sat right in front of automatic doors with no protection from the draught and no heating, I just don't know what the problem is - and neither does my line manager.

Anyhow, I'll worry about it another time - but surely they could have said what the problem was?


WM just finished the work clothes for both of us, going to take it all out and shove the majority into the TD, I think he's probably going to opt for a takeaway, as he washed up the plate he'd left in the sink, so doubt he'll be wanting to clean up again afterwards - knowing that I would most likely be less than pleased if he didn't - and I've already thought ahead for the weekend and bought some breakfast things.


*If* I CBA tomorrow morning, I'll vacuum. But there isn't much else to do - I'd be seeking out jobs, rather than having to do obvious ones. And I'm not convinced that I want to do that, as I'm not that bored yet.

Jojo.. is it the hair colour? or jewellery maybe? People are ridiculous.. they just love a bit of drama!

I am being overly loved by a kitten.. almost loving my face off, he is such a sweetie.. hhmm.. maybe not that sweet he is beating up his brother on my chair behind me!

I desperately need a big shop doing.. but since I paid the last of Octobers bills I do not have the money for frivolities such as food.

I dredged myself through another run of the WM and TD..



My sore finger is really sore.. I can see me winding up at drs with this blooming thing..

I really want to crack out my knitting but I fear for its safety with the bunch of kittens attacking it!

Hair's relatively natural these days (unlike the last place where they hired me with bright blue) - unless they think the white strip coming out of the top of my head is deliberate - I took out the facial piercings for interview/never put them back in, and the ear ones are no different from a colleague's. That's why I'm so baffled by it, I've been ridiculously careful not to sail close to the wind in terms of appearance.


But something more important - HOW MANY KITTENS? And WHY are there no photos?
