It's a beautiful warm sunny day here.

    Dogs walked
    Raspberries picked
    Rubbish out
    Recycling out
First load of washing on line
    Second load in machine
    Physio exercise done

Just scoffing early lunch which is a packet of crisps and glass of milk.

Have planned to have Medieval day at the end of term to wrap up the Y1/Y2 topic. Have only gone and arranged to borrow a frock from an actual castle!
Ooooooh Missus! You'll soon be too posh for the likes of us - or is it a serving wench's outfit? :rotfl:

Well, I never made it to the market town yesterday so that will have to be done on Monday. However, I have now mostly cleared the DR of boxes, apart from one full of music books, together with 3 boxes and a bag full of books and toys for the Toddler Group stall at the church fete at the beginning of December - hopefully I will have space to move them all temporarily to the utility after I've cleared the gardening bits, as I need the DR in a weeks' time for the Old Wives' fish'n'chip supper and beetle drive

My house is almost back to where i want it. On his way to a model railway show, DH is going to drop off his railway uniform suit at the dry cleaner's ;)

So my list for today is:
    - [STRIKE]lubricate the shredder[/STRIKE] [last done in February :o]
[STRIKE]- FUPA DH's pullovers, sweatshirts and polos[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- remind DH to drop off his railway uniform suit at the dry cleaner's[/STRIKE] ;)
    - assemble my new laundry box
    - put antique wooden bricks with family stuff in the loft
    - have a rest because my knees hurt
    - do local shopping
    - take Rosie for her walk
    - file the last little bits of paper that are still on the spare bed:p
    - cook, eat and collapse in front of the TV :p

Hope all who had a long hard week will get some rest xx

    Update from me, so far;
Washing on airer to dry as it’s grey and murky here
Bedding set to wash tomorrow when I have drying space
Kitchen scrubbed, floor mopped, hob cleaned... oven to be done tomorrow or next week
Dining room hoovered, polished and gibble rehomed
Laundry folded from yesterday, put away what I could
    All bins emptied, washed, disinfected
Litter trays emptied, washed and refilled
    Food shop done by DH
DH just hoovering and dusting the lounge

Bedrooms and bathroom to be done tomorrow, I am going to have a sit down and relax for a bit then have a bath ready for the party tonight. Not particularly looking forward to it but sure it will be ok when we get there.

Have a good afternoon all. Sunday Willi will be back on tomorrow:hello::hello::hello:
  • I finally tuned in and spotted the cobwebs all over the beams. Cue 20 minutes of twirling the synthetic feather duster, like twisting candy floss onto a stick. The spiders are outraged and sulking.

Waist taken in on work trousers
More progress made with stitching a birthday present
Attempt made to walk the dogs again but they didn't want to

Just having a cuppa, will then carry on with present. I feel really tired all of a sudden.

Rain, rain and yet more of it.

Wm run first thing. 2 x HHI done. Bed settee assembled.

Currently sitting in the car with my book staring at the (you guessed it) rain, waiting for DD. Back on taxi duty tonight for her, in between meeting up with friends for the evening.

I hope to be more productive tomorrow...
  • Downstairs and first five stairs vacuumed, beloved biker jacket thrown out (it looked terrible, not well worn) and bedlinen in TD. Idiot Cat swaddled in the settee throw and deposited with Himself, rather than in My Spot.

I'm now being told to sit down and rest. Fair enough, I'll get up again when this film has finished.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
