Back home after working.
WM on
Ironing done before I went out
TD is on and I will try and iron it before I go away for weekend.
Shopping done for tonight and Sunday dinner.
Need to look up recipe for shepherds pie made with confit duck for Sunday
Lunch and a drink now0 -
That's me done for today.
I did a tiny WM load that's now dried and put away.
Ironing finished.
Dogs walked, in the spitting rain.
I think that will do until the kids get home.
I seem to be constantly shattered lately, dont know why.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend, whatever you're doing, however you can.
See you all next week:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -

The wardrobe for the downstairs bedroom has just been delivered, and the two men who put it together also moved the linen press for me, so the re-decorated and re-furnished room is beginning to come togetherI have just carried most of the contents of DH's drawers downstairs and left them on the bed, so he will have to sort them before he can get to sleep tonight
I have told him that I am expecting to take a load of tat to the CS. He seems to think I am not serious, but he can't have all the storage space.
I want to pop down to the nearby market town to get a few bits and fill up the car (I've got to drive to Cathedral City again on Monday, this time for a social meal with my fellow-students) so I shall leave him to it!0 -
Hi ladies,
Work done, it's been a tough week emotionally, next week is going to be equally as hard but I'm not thinking about that now!
Easy dinner of pasta and wine  DH sleeping at a friends so house to myself xx
ETA we are now all showered and fed, movie time xx0 -
Hello all
It’s been a long week. Just home, DH has already gone to the pub. He seems to think that I am cooking his dinner and keeping it warm for when he gets back. So stupid, he never learns. As he’s been off all day, I did assume that he was cooking my dinner. Apparently not.
The 2 loads that I put through the wm this morning are still not anywhere near dry. The ironing pile is still where I left it, so that’s the start of the weekend’s list, I think.
Have a lovely evening everyone.0 -
Long week at work. I might have stopped off at the pub on the way back for a sneaky G&T on my own.
All work clothes went into the WM, which finished just before dinner. I swished around the upstairs bathroom, emptied the bin, put some costumes and props that were abandoned in there away in the studio [strike]so I don't have to look at the blasted things anymore[/strike] and replaced the towels - they can go in with the bedlinen tomorrow morning once he's left for work.
He's cleaned some of the kitchen (sort of) and we're now in front of the TV with a ropey Halloween movie on whilst I'm waiting for my Humira delivery again - they cancelled at the last minute last week because 'the driver had run out of hours' three hours before the booked delivery time , so I'm not convinced it's coming this week either. Which means I have no medication left. I have a suspicion that it's B-word related drug supply issues. Which means I'll be flaring again if they don't get it to me soon.
I think I'll be using the TD this weekend to get stuff dry, as it looks like the weather is going to be foul until Sunday teatime.
Tomorrow's plan is a quick scrub of the kitchen, a slow soak in the bath, possibly meeting Himself for a pub lunch (or even a restaurant for Tapas!!!) and generally decompressing from dealing with bumps, grazes, trips, falls, sprains, strains, period pains (theirs and mine) and, worst of all, far too many 11-18 year olds with eating disorders, self harming and anxiety attacks. It's horrible seeing so many of them - what the hell are we doing to girls?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Mine did that yesterday, it insisted I change the password then refused to accept the new one. All ok now.
Seems the UK has sleeping sickness - I'd planned aqua aerobics at 9.30 but woke up at 9.40. Did a load of stuff then went to drum practice which I'd arranged for lunch time (I use drum in the old chapel) but at 1.30 the door was locked, I knocked on the vicarages door to be greeted by the vicar in pj and dressing gown - said he'd just got up and had lunch. Not a sight I'd expected!
Today:
Another kitchen cupboard cleared, cleaned and reorganised. Suspect this will take more than the week I'd planned, but it will be worth it.
Picked flowers and put oasis in to soak for tomorrow; have church to decorate for harvest plus an arrangement to do for a friend's birthday.
Posted another friend's birthday card.
Rang and emailed various people to give funeral details.
Washed up.
Finished and emailed a report.
Visited MIL.
Went to Mr T.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning all,
Last night before bed I wrote a list of what I wanted to get done today, I've already ticked off one thing :T
Just having a cuppa waiting for it to get light, at which point I will hang the washing out and poo pick. I have a huuuuge Ikea bag full of stuff for the chazza so that will be getting dropped off today as well.
I hope you all have a fab day xx0
