    Morning :hello:

Bed is made. WM is swishing,

I walked in to the living room before applying my mental filter this morning and saw the room as it is. :eek:_pale__pale_ And breathe...

Part of me wants to cry; part of me feels sick; and part of me is examining the room and thinking: cs, cs, kitchen, needs a new home somewhere, DS's room. The power of flylady :T

I think the time has come to keep on keeping on with the kitchen and to make a start on the living room.

There's a song in my head now 'Little by little I'm moving forward, step by step I'm on my way'.

(I still feel a bit sick though :o)

    Any Willis up yet?

    Morning

Raining here, so made the right choice not to go car booting! :)
    So breakfast eaten
OH has been up since silly o'clock and has watched the grand prix, and has moved onto the rugby for now.

I will hoover round, but not sure what else for the rest of the day.

Rain here as forecast so WM then TD. It was towels because I cleaned the bathroom. Might do a full vacuum round then that will do until either next week or half term. I'm finding out I'm covering on a week-by-week basis.
Need to do some admin, work prep and marking today.
    I also ran DW.
Pleased I went to town yesterday as it was dry.

    [Morning

    Sunday Willi reporting for duty!

We had a late night and a looooong rainy drive back so taking a while to come round this morning. I have bedrooms and bathroom to do and the dailies. I am going to deep clean one of the rooms while DH is here to help move the furniture.

Pouring down here so doubt we will be getting out for a walk. So I shall finish my cuppa and try and locate my GUAG.

    Back later with progress report.

Good luck round step by step is the only way to do it x

Me again :o (Feel free to block me if I'm too much :o)

Oh my  Rose tinted glasses are definitely off this morning _pale__pale_ H/S/L is ok; everywhere else is erm… not :( If I wasn't me I wouldn't want to live here. I know DS's GF prefers to be here as 'everyone is nice to each other' but all I can say is - never put your glasses on Amy! (I found out that is why she crashes around everywhere - she can't actually see too well without her specs but she chooses not to wear them.)

Ok the reality is pretty grim - erm no pretty about it, it's grim!

Also, reality is that I'm out of the house 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday (commutes / paid stuff/ visiting Dad) and in bed 10pm to 6.30 am (sleeping / dreaming / recovering from dreams). My job isn't physically challenging but mentally it can be draining and I am aware that by Thursday / Friday I am often running on fumes (especially as I'm also using energy to block MM's negativity) so I have to save spoons earlier in the week to prevent burn out. It feels like I'm making excuses for not-flying - but I'm not. I'm looking for where I can realistically up the ante. On paper I have five and a half hours a day when I am not at work or asleep - obviously I need to wash / dress / cook / eat - but that still leaves about three hours a day - which I am currently spending..... reading or watching tv. I can see where this is going :rotfl:

Sorry if I'm boring you - I needed to work that out for myself. Not wanting to set myself up to fail: if I aim for HHC each evening that will surely MAD? And Weekend Willi will be able to tackle bigger projects. So that's when you do the dailies Round :o 30 minutes each evening - and there won't be a mountain of pots taking up chunks of weekend. And it's taken me 59 years to work that out!!! heyho

I'm blaming the Vitamin D for all this. My therapist says I'm in/on an 'ascension'. If it leads to a haven instead of a hovel I don't care if it's the fault / inspiration of little green men in purple latex :D

Flying? I'm washed and dressed. Clean, dry, washing has been taken upstairs, and the laundry shuffle has made room for today's WM x 1.

Let's start as we mean to go on: HHC anyone?

Morning everyone. Raining here too. I attempted a walk with the dogs but we all agreed to come home after five minutes.

    So far today I have

Watered indoor plants and checked vases of flowers
    Polished kitchen sink
S&sd bathrooms and emptied bins in both rooms
    Made bed
    Put yesterday's washing away
    Done physio

I really need to finish the birthday gift next as I have paid stuff to do later.

    In my HHC I:

    set the timer
    started Cat Stevens' CD
put living room and kitchen bin bags in the bin*
put new bin bags in situ
    put out the recycling*
    fed the birds*
    WUDUPA x 2 bowls of pots :T
3rd bowl of pots is soaking in hot soapy water**
    beep beep
Cat Stevens is on pause :D**

*It's tipping down here but I put my shoes on and went out to get all my outside jobs done whilst the first bowl of pots soaked.

** I can't face another HHC so soon after that one, but I want to get those pots WUDUPA and that will just leave pans and baking trays to do - so QHC anyone?

  • Morning all,

Up since 5.30 with DS :cool: on the plus side I have:

    - Done the VAT
    - emailed my boss
    - cooked a full English
    - tidied the kitchen
    - hoovered the kitchen
    - make a big pan of bolognese
    - done a laundry shuffle

Will browse on here for a while now; need to clean the WM as accidentally put a Brasso soaked cloth in with the clothes and the smell won't shift

    Any ideas ladies? X
